Hotel in zona Parque Merendas São Paulo, Setúbal Municipality

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel non sapendo molto di esso dagli Stati Uniti. stiamo soggiornando 19 giorni e è un ottimo hotel. Le persone sono molto carine e professionali. La stanza è molto fondamentale come noi cercavamo e molto pulito. Il colazione ha una grande varietà di pane e frutta con uova e salsa. Il caffè è molto buono con una vasta varietà. Lo consiglio a chiunque non abbia bisogno di un posto fantastico per soggiornare con un grande servizio e camere pulite. Grazie per il buon soggiorno all'Hotel Litau.

Home perfetto, colazione completa e coppia con uova sgusciate, crema, brownies, pomme, kiwi, fiori, abriko, prugno, caffè, tè, succo d'arancia, pane cereali, brioche, ecc. Personale molto piacevole e professionale. Collo per bambini con toboggan e piscina, parte ombrata sotto gli alberi ben mantenuti dai giardinieri. Grande camera confortevole e molto pulita. Lettiera confortevole. Spazioso e pulito bagno. La receptionista e il server del colazione sono reattivi e ascolta. Grazie per il soggiorno in questa bella regione.

I had a bad last day experience there. I went to Setúbal with my wife and two daughters (3Y old and 1Y old baby) for the Alegro Half Marathon. The hotel had protocols with the organizers to allow late check-out on the running day. For my surprise, when I arrived from the running, they had already requested and quick out my family from the room. My wife had to carry alone the luggage to the main lobby and waiting for me. I couldn't shower and had to spend the rest of the planned day in Setúbal smelling like a pig. They wanted to fix the problem at the last minute by giving me back the key but, you know, there's nothing to do ”over spilled milk”. I guess is not staff fault but management fault that didn't communicate properly the info.

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! Can’t rate this place higher. Perfect location right in front of the beach, super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room. Great breakfast. Love the sauna and roof top jacuzzi. Great little town to have some beach time. Enjoy!

We stayed there in September, for 6 days, as we had our wedding in costa caparica. We had a happy week in Portugal, but the quality of the service in the hotel was poor. The building itself is clean, and has a kind of desing, thats a plus. But the staff was not kind or nice at all. We literally felt bad whenever we went to the reception to discuss something (basic things, like reserving a table etc). They looked pretty grumpy and when we approached them, we felt uncomfortable, they just wanted to get rid of us. Applies for the Reception and the breakfast and bar staff. Only the cleaning ladies were nice and smiling. It was pretty difficult to order or ask in English durint launch or breakfast. Our parents arrived one day later, around 1 am in the morning, after a 14hours trip, and after check-in we had to do all the paying in this late hour, even though we asked and promised that we will come down first thing in the morning to pay, as they are exteremely exhausted after the trip. They didnt care at all. At other hotels we always paid upon leaving but even if they want to make sure and have it in advance, i truly believe they should be more emphatic and not keeping exhasuted people at the front desk for an extra 30 minutes in the middle of the night. My father has diabetes and high hart rate, he was really suffering after this trip and just wanted to go to bed. All the parents are above 65, it was unpleasent welcome. At this hotel you have to book the breakfast table in advance, doesnt matter how late you arrived,and even if this is the last thing you want to do on your holiday, to follow a schedule. When we ate at the bar, it took literally an hour to get some snack. The 3person room is not really a 3 person room, it is a normal room with an extra bed which is only suitable for smaller children. (It is not like a must, but a good indicator: we had our wedding there, walking out from the hotel, and no one from the staff had a kind word - even all the flight attandendts were nices that anyone in the hotel.) We choose the hotel as it is close to the beach by car, so it fulfilled the purpose, but we would not go back. For the price you can get better.

Estivemos no dia 16 de Fevereiro. Os empregados são simpáticos, mas ainda pouco experientes. Localização excelente com uma vista excepcional do terraço/Bar.Quarto bom,mas com cama demasiado grande para o espaço,embora confortável. O quarto e as instalações estavam limpas Pequeno almoço sofrível para im hotel 4*.O bufet está mal organizado: - as compotas não estão identificadas - não há colheres maiores para comer o iogurte com fruta - a fruta está cortada demasiado grossa - não têm bules para poder levar para a mesa com o chá A fruta estava pouco madura. O pão (bolas) é de qualidade sofrível. Não há recolha atempada da louça suja na mesa A música ambiente é um autêntico desastre.É música de discoteca ( pum catapum catapum) e está sempre altíssima. Estivemos no bar para relaxar e ler,pedimos para baixar o som,mas mesmo assim é demasiado desconfortável.A música ambiente num hotel deve ser relaxante ,suave e com o som baixo.Não se vai para um hotel para ouvir música de discoteca!!! O preço é elevado para a qualidade.
