Just returned from a week here with our two teenage children. We stayed in block 5 and upgraded to a penthouse suite which sits at the top of the resort so has amazing views through to the beach at Camp De Mar. The food here is excellent, no question the best hotel food we have ever had. We visited all of the restaurants and found everyone to be equally great - personal favourite was the Steakhouse however the kids loved the Italian. Being end of season we expected a quiet time, in fact on the final few days of our holiday we were the only people in The Market buffet for breakfast; that said the service was impeccable and the food delicious. Tips: The hotel sits at the top of a hill, ok for us however, if you cannot walk too well best to avoid leaving the hotel which isn’t for those who like to explore. As such, the hotel is split over many levels all accessible via lifts but can be a little disorientating at first perhaps. We got there after a couple of days. Book reservations via the Zafiro App. We found this was very simple but at the end of season no doubt easier than at peak so speak to concierge or reception for help. The beach is a walk downhill of 5-10 mins and has plenty of shops of around 4/5 restaurants. One sits on a rock out to sea and was very popular. We didn’t visit purely down to how good the food was at the hotel. Definitely recommend block 5 for the views. Special mention: EVERY member of the team here was so welcoming. Big smiles and a warm hola from everyone, literally every member of the team spoke to us about our stay showing how much they cared. A touch of class.
