- Non consiglio vivamente a chi ha un programma fitto e serrato di soggiornare in questo hotel. Si trova lontano, praticamente da qualsiasi posto. La fermata dell'autobus più vicina è a 5 minuti a piedi. Ma ci sono delle scale da salire e questa fermata dell'autobus non ha molte opzioni di percorso. Quindi abbiamo dovuto cambiare autobus. Un'altra fermata dell'autobus e anche la stazione ferroviaria più vicina sono a 10 minuti a piedi o circa 700 m dall'hotel. Tornare in hotel sarebbe un problema perché dovresti salire.
- Tecnicamente è un hotel con check-in automatico. Non ci sarà nessun receptionist nella hall. Quindi se hai bisogno di qualcosa, devi chiamarli tramite il telefono fornito nella hall. So che hanno fatto del loro meglio per aiutare, ma purtroppo il personale non parla molto bene l'inglese
La dimensione della stanza è decente. È anche pulita e moderna. Alla fine della giornata, dormire bene è molto importante. E lo forniscono con un letto morbido e cuscini.

Check in process was smooth. The room for 3 quite pack but still got a little space to unpack our baggages. There is a storage area where you can put your luggage before check in or after checkout without any fee. They even provided free washing machine and dryer at basement so if you guys stay here, you can save your luggage space for other things since you can just wash your clothes here. Location also very strategic, near exit 3 myeongdong station (with escalator) and near many halal shops/restaurants.

Amazing value for money stay in the heart of shopping district. Location and price of this property is one of the best in the city, close to all possible transport options (subway, bus, airport bus).Myeongdong shopping district was less than 5 minutes away. Plenty of convenient stores and restaurants around. Luggage storage available which was very handy at checkout.
Cleanliness was impeccable throughout our visit.
The cool projector can connect to streaming apps like Netflix and YT. It's nice to have QR code in the room for easy reference.
Overall, Affordable, modern design, clean rooms and attentive staff,. Will be back for sure!

La posizione è eccellente. Questo è l'unico commento che posso fare. L'igiene è così così, gli asciugamani sono di colore grigio. Non vengono fornite pantofole di carta. La temperatura della stanza è sempre di 26 gradi e non è regolabile nella stanza. Le prese elettriche sono terribili, ho portato l'adattatore corretto ma non riesco ancora a caricare né quello fornito dalla receptionist. Quindi all'1 di notte chiamo la receptionist e mandano il cosiddetto tecnico a venire nella mia stanza due volte per riparare.

Il mio amico e io abbiamo soggiornato per 11 notti, l'hotel è un po' diverso dalle foto fornite dall'hotel, ma questo non è un minimo. La pulizia era regolare, tutto era abbastanza buono. Sì, la stanza non è così grande, ma, visto che siamo venuti solo per passare la notte, questa stanza era sufficiente per noi. Un'altra cosa che mi piaceva era la check-out indipendente, visto che abbiamo fatto la check-out alle sette. Per il prezzo che abbiamo affittato la stanza, abbiamo buone condizioni. E la posizione dell'hotel è solo grande - un 10-minute di guida è la bella zona Myeongdong, Namsan Tower, Insadong area e in linea di principio si può andare in qualsiasi area dall'hotel.

La distanza da Myeong-dong è a circa 10 minuti a piedi e, con il mercato Namdaemun nelle vicinanze, la posizione è davvero comoda con diversi mezzi di trasporto (inclusa la fermata diretta dell'autobus Airport Limousine situata proprio vicino all'hotel).
I servizi e le dotazioni sono ottimi, con servizio bagagli con armadietto automatico e buona atmosfera nella hall e ai piani dell'hotel. Adoro l'aroma della fragranza di shampoo/balsamo/gel doccia.
Due cose da menzionare durante la mia esperienza sono la pulizia degli asciugamani e il problema dell'insonorizzazione tra i piani.
Nel complesso, è un bel fine settimana e consiglio di provare questo hotel (mi piacerebbe anche provare a soggiornare in una delle camere a tema Line Friends un giorno).
[Ho scattato solo foto del bagno/lavabo e del percorso dell'autobus per andare all'aeroporto di Incheon (il nome della fermata dell'autobus è Namdaemun Market (Banca di Corea)), mi ci è voluta meno di un'ora e mezza per raggiungere l'aeroporto e costa 17000 ₩ con Tmoney o Cash, è stato un viaggio piacevole]

L'hotel si trova a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana principale, Chungmuro. Non è a pochi passi da Myeongdong, è a 1 stazione di distanza. La camera è pulita e siamo lieti che ci siano 3 letti singoli di buone dimensioni (le dimensioni dei letti dell'hotel di Seoul sono piuttosto piccole). Proprio accanto all'hotel c'è una fila di pochi negozi di barbecue - super buoni ma con una lunga coda - frequentati principalmente da gente del posto. Vale la pena aspettare, buon prezzo rispetto a Myeongdong: circa 15,00 won per set di manzo. A Chungmuro sono disponibili molti altri cibi e negozi. Per il prezzo, l'Hotel PJ è una buona opzione per noi. Tieni presente che l'orario della limousine aeroportuale (Won 17,00 per pax per l'aeroporto) fornito dall'hotel non è molto accurato in quanto l'elenco indica che l'ultimo autobus parte alle 19:55, ma la verità è che ci sono molti orari disponibili: è meglio fare riferimento a Sito web e percorso della limousine aeroportuale. La posizione è a circa 5-10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione del Dongdaemun History Park. È comodo perché puoi utilizzare le linee 2, 4 e 5. Anche se fai acquisti a tarda notte a Dongdaemun, puoi tornare a casa a piedi. Gli ascensori e gli ingressi delle camere sono abilitati al passcode, quindi non è necessario portare con sé una chiave magnetica, il che è conveniente.

Il mio soggiorno in questo hotel è iniziato con una piacevole esperienza di una notte, che mi ha portato a prolungare il soggiorno per altre notti. Mentre la pulizia e i servizi premurosi mi hanno impressionato, le piccole dimensioni della stanza sono state compensate dal rumore fastidioso. Nonostante gli ospiti siano generalmente silenziosi di notte, il pessimo isolamento acustico ha reso impossibile dormire oltre le 6:30-7:00 a causa delle porte rumorose che si chiudevano. Se sei un mattiniero, questo hotel economico potrebbe essere una buona scelta, ma per coloro che tengono al sonno, il rumore potrebbe essere un inconveniente significativo.

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong, from November 5th to November 9th, and it was an excellent experience. We booked two double rooms and one king room for our group, and I’m happy to share our thoughts on the stay.

The location of Le Méridien is one of its best features. Situated in the heart of Myeongdong, the hotel is surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood full of shopping, restaurants, and street food vendors. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring Seoul, whether you’re shopping in Myeongdong, visiting nearby attractions like Namsan Seoul Tower, or using the subway to access other parts of the city. The area feels lively yet is still a comfortable place to relax in the evenings.

We were all very impressed with the rooms. The double rooms were spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room to move around even with luggage. The king room was especially luxurious, with a large, comfortable bed and a modern, elegant design. All rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The amenities provided were top-notch, including high-quality toiletries and a well-stocked minibar.

A nice touch was the free drinks offered to Marriott members. It was a great perk after a long day of sightseeing—perfect for relaxing in the hotel’s chic lounge area. Whether it was a cocktail or a refreshing juice, this little extra made our stay feel even more special.

The service was friendly and professional, and we felt well taken care of during our time there. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul and would absolutely stay here again. 소소근소근Il motivo per cui ho soggiornato qui è camminare fino a Insa-dong, al Palazzo Gyeongbokgung e al villaggio di Bukchon Hanok.
Gli eventi natalizi di Shinsegae sono raggiungibili a piedi.
Ho soggiornato lì e la stanza era davvero piccola solo per dormire.
Era ordinato, pulito e confortevole.
Mi è piaciuto perché il paesaggio era molto carino e c'erano molti ristoranti nell'edificio stesso.
È stato bello che ci fossero molti posti dove mangiare anche senza fare colazione.
Era bello passeggiare e vedere le cose, ero ancora più soddisfatto perché c'erano molti posti da vedere.
Anche il personale è stato gentile. Ho pagato 30000 per il parcheggio.
Comunque lo consiglio ahah

JJennieThe room is clean and spacious. The location is superb where all the shops are just downstairs and opposite hotel is the Michelin guide noodles shop. There is also a coin laundry area where we wash our clothes during our stay. Despite car can’t drive in as it’s located in Myeongdong shopping street, it’s just a 5 mins walk away from the main street. We will definitely stay in this hotel when go Seoul again.

The buffet breakfast is included, which should have nothing to complain, although the variety is limited and would be nice to see some Korean style breakfast.
Would consider this hotel for our next trip back to Korea.

UUtente anonimoLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise there’s not much to do in this whole area as it’s very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They don’t provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didn’t get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ‘big-country’ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You won’t be believed this you can’t even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think it’s really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, it’s totally not worth it and we can’t avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crews’ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

C'è un autobus alla porta al piano di sotto quando esci, e c'è una metropolitana a poche centinaia di anni di cammino.
Ho cercato su Google questo indirizzo, ma all'ingresso non c'era nessun cartello dell'hotel, quindi è stato difficile trovarlo. Ho chiesto aiuto ai passanti, ma non sono riusciti a trovarlo! Alla fine ho visto il numero civico 130 ed sono entrato.
L'aspetto negativo è il massaggio tailandese. Ho provato diversi pacchetti per due notti di seguito. È vero che la signora tailandese può sentire il suono dell'intero osso che risuona.
L'ostello è al 3° piano, senza ascensore
Recentemente rinnovato, la reception non è stata ancora terminata e c'è ancora una pila di materiali decorativi presso la reception, quindi il check-in è molto semplice, basta dire allo staff il tuo nome e lui ti dirà il numero della tua camera e password, senza nemmeno confermare la necessità del passaporto! Il personale ha un'ottima attitudine ed è sempre sorridente!
Ogni stanza ha un blocco con password perché è un negozio appena aperto! Le lenzuola e i copripiumini sono tutti nuovi di zecca e anche gli asciugamani sono nuovi di zecca e puliti. Ogni letto ha il proprio armadio indipendente. Puoi portare la tua serratura, un asciugamano e una presa multipla standard europea! Se vieni dalla Francia, porta semplicemente il tuo cavo di ricarica standard europeo e usalo direttamente! C'è gel doccia e shampoo, ma devi portare il tuo balsamo, spazzolino da denti e dentifricio!
Durante il mio soggiorno di due notti, ho incontrato cinesi venuti in Corea per inseguire le stelle.
La seconda notte, ho incontrato una ragazza di Chengdu e una ragazza di Lione, in Francia. Abbiamo chiacchierato goffamente in inglese e francese per più di un'ora. Alla fine, la scienza popolare le ha permesso con successo di lasciare il paese per visitare la Città Proibita è stata trasferita a Pechino per 9 ore. Le è stato permesso di andare. Abbiamo mangiato anatra alla pechinese e le abbiamo chiesto di scaricare V e vincolare la sua carta di credito, e l'abbiamo aggiunta come amica!

UUtente ospiteWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è molto bella, a cinque minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana di Zhongwu Road, a tre minuti a piedi dall'autobus per l'aeroporto, e c'è un minimarket appena fuori dalla porta quando giri a sinistra! Gli zii e le zie alla reception sono gentili e dispongono di un semplice inglese e di un software di traduzione, quindi la comunicazione non è affatto un problema✌. Ho prenotato una camera loft a due piani. Lo spazio è molto più grande di quanto mi aspettassi. È la scelta migliore per viaggiare da solo e con gli amici. Sceglierò di soggiornare nuovamente qui se ne avrò l'opportunità. ☺️

MMary KathrynWe were able to locate the guest house easily using Naver Map. However, our first struggle was how to reach the destination itself.
The guesthouse is located in an uphill area, almost near Namsan Cable Car (600km/20min walk). A great tip we discovered (after struggling of walking uphill for 2 days 😂) was using the escalators/elevators near the Ihoeyeong Memorial Hall. Go straight from there and you’ll find a 7-Eleven convenience store upon crossing the street. Go left then right at the first wide alley way you see, it should be uphill. Keep on walking until you see a signage of mama guest house on your right side.
We booked a day before our arrival so we could immediately check-in in our rooms. A note welcomed us and our keys were found at the reception area. Pls don’t forget to remove your shoes and change into the slippers they provide found in the shoe cabinet at the left side of the entrance.
Our rooms were next to each other, but differ in size. Bathroom was okay, but I hope they’ll fix the sink’s pipe problem in room 104 since it leaks on the floor upon using. I suggest buying shower filters (5,000 Won) since the water in SK is quite harsh. I suggest to test how you’ll adjust the temperature when showering. There were no bidets in our bathrooms.
Always bring your keycard with you whenever you go out. They don’t go into your rooms like hotels would. If you have any requests, just leave a note on their desk (ie. New towels, tissue, etc.) They also don’t have laundry machines. Do not eat inside the rooms, only in the kitchen which is in the basement.
If you feel like your trash bins are getting full, trash bins are found in the lobby and segregate everything according to their waste category. Just think of it as you’re staying on your own room.
Walls are thin, made of light wood materials so I wouldn’t suggest talking nor listening to your phone loudly.
Breakfast menu were cereals with milk, bread and flavored jam, and instant noodles. You can only consume what’s inside the fridge unless there’s a note that a room guest owns it. You can cook and buy your own food, just make sure you clean up after. You can also fill-up your water bottles here.
Going to different areas are easy too since it’s near Myeongdong Station exit 1. If you’re planning to go shopping in Myeongdong, just go straight after exit 1 and you should see E-Mart across the street then cross on the first crosswalk you see. If you want to enter the “main” street, go left until you see the bug HBAF building.
Overall, I think our stay was a good since the staff we get see was very accommodating to our requests. I just hope they’ll fix some of their bathroom leakage.
