Rukhad Jungle Camp

The stay at Jalmahal was good. We had a the privilege of enjoying the entire property alone for 4 nights and we had memorable time staying there. Special thanks to Vaibhav Ji for hosting us at Jalmahal and been kind enough to agree in staying next to us in the adjacent room. Really unless you spend a few nights there it's hard to imagine how different a stay can be inside core forest. Living practically in the middle jungle and enjoying the luxury and creature comforts was really an amazing experience. Absolutely safe for families and hospitality is really wonderful. Special mention Pavan Kumar and Ajay Kumar, both really took care of us a lot. Once again special thanks to Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Vaibhav for being clear about the expectations and extending all the support to make our stay comfortable. We shall always remember this special gesture of arranging many special moments for us on the Jalmahal Machan and through out the stay at Jalmahal Rukhad Pench.

Good experience facilities can be a little better. Food was good service was good. They provided us with transport right into the rooms near the lake. The rooms had an amazing view. The location is beautiful. The weather was pleasant. we had a lovely time.on the machaan

Request for fellow travellers: please don't smoke in jal mahal balcony, don't throw your garbage in the lake and don't feed the fish in jal mahal. Feeding wild animals can change their biology, introduce diseases and ultimately wreck delicate ecosystems! Also, it's a quiet place, please, please use headphones to watching Instagram reels or play video games. This is a place to escape from the noise, not add to it. The service, the team is absolutely top notch. Shout out to Mr Vaibhav, Pawan and the entire team. I loved the food also, it was piping hot every time. A couple of guests were creating nuisance and that was dealt with promptly. Appreciate that. The place is something out of a dream. Quiet, surrounded by greenery. We spent entire days sitting outside on the balcony watching birds and dragonflies for hours. And you can even catch a couple of fireflies at night in the complete darkness, if you go in the correct season. We will definitely written to enjoy the beautiful forest,the peace and quiet, and the lovely smoke free environment. Again, shout out to the entire staff, they truly go above and beyond to make this a tranquil and peaceful stay.

Stay is very amazing with the experience in close proximity to the wildlife. Staff is exceptional jolly and helpful ! Food is also very tasty ! The lake view for the tooms and nature sounds create an unmatched experience with clear skys in the night being very nice opportunity for star gazing.

If u really want to detox from all kinds of stress in life....This is the place to go.i just sat for hours in the balcony just watching the lake, clouds, birds.Food was yummy.Rooms & washroom very clean. Vaibhav, pawan, kiran&all the staff were very very good. I must say, those who want to party and chill must not go here

We have booked Jalmahal for 4 family couples and enjoyed a lot during our two days stay. Food arrangements by Mr. Vaibhav & co was bang on as all our kids were happy eating those sumptuous foods. Mr. Mohit was great in provide room service to all of us & made feel like home. Great stay for sure. Bonus- We spotted tiger during our Jungle safari during off season

We had an incredible experience staying at Jal Mahal, Rukhad jungle camp. You can enjoy breathtaking views from the room, if you’re lucky enough then you can spot a tiger from your balcony itself. The hospitality of Mr. Mohit and co was exceptional, great food and polite staff. Best part was the presence of two experienced naturalist in Ketan(Junglee bhidu) and Zainaab, you get learn a lot from them and see the forest and the majestic big cats with a whole new perspective. Its a must visit for anyone who wants to experience nature and wildlife at its best.

Excellent property, location and food. Humble, punctual & well disciplined staff. Presence of Mr ketan Datar & Ms Zee made our trip a memorable one.. we visited Jal Mahal & planning to visit Daldali next year... Specially Ketan is a humble & multi talented enthusiast. His research on jungle & specially tigers is amazing. We got to know many jungle stories & jungle philosophies from both of them... I have visited couple of jungles, for me Rukhad is the most beautiful jungle... I think, the intent of visiting a jungle shouldn't be just tiger spotting, intent should be to understand & feel the jungle ... During our visit to Rukhad, Bajirao the male tiger was moving within 500 meters from us (we spotted his kill near Jal Mahal), but we could not spot him ... We couldn't spot the tiger but we were lucky to meet Ketan & Zee !!! My 8 year son Yashraj (Chintu) is a big fan of Ketan, after meeting Ketan his happiness went limitless !!!

Very nice view point and excellent hospitality by Staff. The spot is surrounded by lush green mixed forest where you can see various wildlife. Also there were call of so many different Birds in morning time. Mr Vaibhav provided us excellent room services including meal too. Must visit again.
