Travelling alone for work. Paid for a single bedded room at a discounted price The room is very clean, and amenities are well provided. Rooms equipped with TV (around 15 channels) and u can use iron and hair dryer upon request Took breakfast package. It's served at the restaurant on GF. U can choose between nasi lemak or nasi/mee goreng set. U will get 1 meal. There are free flow toasts, cereals, side dishes (curry puffs n samosa) and fruits. Tea, coffee and juice too. Location wise, quite strategic. Plenty of restaurant around, most are mamak. 24h 7eleven within 200m walk. Kipp Mall is just at the opposite road. Paradigm mall is very near, and you are just an exit away from main road. Overall, value for money!

The hotel staff are friendly. It takes a few minutes to check in which I think is excellent. The size of the room is enough for couples planning to stay for 1 or 2 nights. The bed is comfortable. The amenities are basic. It is not a soundproof room because I can hear people talking and laughing next to our room. Overall, I might consider staying here again.

Good experience staying here, my choice of hotel each time came to JB. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is generally in Tampoi area which are very near to Paradigm mall and BBU. Cleanliness so far are good. The only problem is the water pressure in the morning probably due to peak hour. I sometime couldnt use the rain shower properly due to weak water pressure.

Bad: Got stain on the bedsheet. Toilet not very nice. No hairdryer. Good: Room was cleaned everyday. Belongings not touched.

Everything's decent. Hotels area is like an Indian town, just 5mins away from Paradigm Mall & 20mins to JPO. Room is clean. Bar soap, shampoo & toothbrush provided. TV function

Nearby some shop lot and easy to get mart nearby. Public car park available. Hairdryer and iron need to request from reception and only 30min

It’s an old hotel but renovated n looks new. The room is very spacious with shelving for hanging clothes. The front desk staffs are friendly and the simple breakfast is tasty. Vey good price booked with Trip.com and walking distance to KipMall n eateries 👍😊

This is a good hotel but I had bad experiences last time because the room smelled like someone smoked inside the room before.

The Point Boutique Hotel is conveniently located, surrounded by shops, markets, and a mall, making it easy to find food or visit a pharmacy. There's even a clinic right in front of the premises. However, due to the bustling nature of the street, it can be quite busy with people around the hotel. For foreign travelers with their own vehicles, be sure to download the MBJB v2 app (available only if you change your AppStore/PlayStore country to Malaysia) to manage parking. Parking needs to be paid either for the whole day or within specific time slots (before 6 PM or between 9 AM and 6 PM). Unfortunately, we arrived at noon and weren’t aware of this, which led to a parking fine — don’t make the same mistake! As for the service, it was fair for the price. If you’re a short-term traveler or just passing through, this hotel offers a decent option. The room was clean, with a window, hot water, and enough space to hang clothes and store luggage.

The staff there is very cheerful even though we came at very late at night, the food there is good, rooms are very clean overall a very good place to stay at

The hotel has friendly service, they were always ready to assist us. The food around the hotel is excellent 👍 Will definitely recommend and come back again for sure.

It’s my second or third time staying here, really a good place and I’m enjoying my stay here so far
