Van Riper's Resort

it’s a motel not hotel, so manage your expectations when booking it. It’s expensive than it should be

J Wonderful stay. I wish we had planned a longer stay! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely place to stay for a vacation!

Great service, clean room! We booked a room here very last minute, and we got the last room available. Upon arriving, we were a little skeptical because it didn't look like anything had been renovated or replaced since the 1980s, besides the TV in the bedroom, but that actually ended up being totally fine. Everything worked well and was very clean - what more can you ask for? Great service by the staff? Yep, we got that, too. We will definitely stay here again and encourage anyone we know traveling up to the northern area of the peninsula to stay here as well.

Hidden gem near Olympic National Park - very comfortable beds, hot shower, unique location The only minus - heating was inadequate Enjoyed our stay of 2 nights very much!

Always love Van Ripers. Check in was difficult as fishing was slow & nobody was home. No answer to phone calls to office & the number on the door; no answer & no return phone call. Almost had to book room across street if owner hadn't driven by when I was at front door. An answering machine for the main number would be great or perhaps just leaving the key in the room like other places do. Love Van Ripers otherwise

This is probably the best spot in the area and affordable too
