Wall Eden Farm - Luxury Log Cabins and Glamping

Amazing place! Gorgeous setting! We stayed in otters bank and it was nothing short of perfect! Fully equip with a stunning hottub! So nice to wake up to sheep and cats outside your window! We did archery and axe throwing it was amazing as first timers! Stu the instructor was exceptional and such a friendly person! Everyone made sure our holiday was just perfect! Nothing was too much trouble and it truly was a luxury trip! Will 100% be going back!

We stayed in Deer Lodge at Wall Eden Farm. One of the best places I have ever stayed, beautiful lodges, with little touches that made the arrival so special. Dressing gowns on each bed and a little bag of conditioner, shampoo, shower gel etc we had a log fire which was absolutely delightful and had lots of logs provided with no additional cost. Towels, washing up liquid, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets all provided. Lots of utensils provided, including a potato masher etc a big fridge and freezer compartment. The hot tub is absolutely massive with lights and jets to make it even more enjoyable in there. As it’s on a farm there are wild sheep, cats etc walking round grazing on grass outside your lodge which is just delightful. There is an on sight launderette, cafe, restaurant, shop/farm shop. Lots of rural walks available and our lodge was dog friendly which was a bonus. The lodge is extremely warm and holds the heat very well, we have stayed in the beginning of October and was so surprised how warm we were. There is a luxury double end bath and a walk in wet room with heated flooring. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The wifi is a bonus and a really strong connection to be able to stream films on your iPad/phone etc. There is free view and also a DVD player (it didn’t state this so we didn’t bring any and was disappointed so make sure you take some with you) the photos don’t do it justice as you don’t see all the lodge and the little touches you get. We also visited Kilve Beach whilst we were here, around 40 minutes away. The carpark is good, you pay on the way out - it cost us £2 for 3 hours. It’s one of the best beaches for fossil hunting, we didn’t think we would find any but found quite a few. There are signs saying you can take them as long as you don’t break anything off the cliffs etc to take. Apart from that we spent our entire week in our cabin, playing games and doing jigsaw and in and out the hot tub. 10/10 recommend. Very good value for money.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Deer walk cabin. It was clean and it had everything we needed. The activities were so much fun and the staff were amazing! The kids loved the hot tub especially! I am now being asked by my son to stay there again for a lot longer :)

My partner and I had such a lovely stay and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable rural stay. The archery, shooting and axe throwing were incredibly fun and the glamping pod was very cosy and warm. The accommodation and facilities were all very clean and tidy. Plenty of parking and easy road access to nearby seaside town Burnham with plenty of shops and pubs.

Just stayed for a night so didn’t use any facilities. Stayed in a glamping pod, which was mostly very clean but the bathroom was smelly, when I checked behind the toilet it needed cleaning better, and the smell might have been coming from the toilet brush, which is an insanitary thing to have in a small space. There was also some glass on the floor which hadn’t been cleaned up. Otherwise everything provided that you would need. It’s a lovely location and nice when the goats visit you! But this was our problem, we went expecting a nice quiet experience but the pods are very close together and there was a family group over several pods that got together and were playing music. This spoilt it for us we were there to relax. The website says it’s suitable for relaxing or family parties so I think it needs to make up its mind which as they are not compatible. Maybe it would have been a good idea to have separate areas for quiet pods. The self check in is hassle free but it does mean you have no one to discuss issues with.

We booked Strawberry pod for two nights/2 people at £229. It appeared clean on the surface. However I found topper soiled and mattress heavily soiled with yellow stains. My complaint was met with belligerence. I was offered a clean topper/sheet and to have the mattress flipped over to reveal the unquilted underside of the mattress for us to sleep on, I found this unsatisfactory and we were reluctantly promised a full refund if we left. Sadly this was not forthcoming. I returned four days later and queried this at reception and was met with deception and hostile attitude. It ruined our weekend away to be with friends and enjoy the facilities causing a lot of unnecessary stress.

Booked this break for a few days of relaxing fishing, but there was hardly any water in the lake! Certainly not to be able to fish. I was advised that there was fishing a 15/20 min drive away at a cost of £8 a day. Hardly what I had booked for, so completely defeated the object of being able to come out of the pod, walk 20meters and be able to fish. (I was advised that I could fish the river, but I'm not a river fisherman) I was drawn to this place because of the close proximity of pod to water as I could have popped in and out of the pod for a drink or lunch or the toilet. I was "reeled in" by the picture of the lake that's on the website but it wasn't what I found on arrival. There is no shop (as stated on the website) and the kitchen is being built/ refurbed. The pod was very nice, clean and well equipped for anyone wanting a non-fishing break. Seeing as I had emailed asking about the fishing & they had my email details, they could have informed me that I wouldn't be fishing there! Not the best fishing holiday I've had sadly, but quite expensive.

Just back from our two night stay with walle Eden. There is not one aspect of our stay that warrants complaint. The staff are the friendliest I've met, very helpful, fun and inviting. The pod was not done justice on the sites pictures, they are bigger in reality, comfy warm clean. A mini home from home.brand new bar on sight (we were first patrons) super cosy with a selection of local drinks aswel as the normals, the activities are so well laid and structured. There is no way you can be bad with the help and support of the staff. I will definitely be booking again with the whole family.each in throwing distance, Wookey Hole down the road. I could literally write forever on the pros, only con was I had to leave. We'll worth every penny five stars all the way. Thankyou wall eden for a throughly enjoyable experience.
