This unique place stands way above the cookie cutter hotels… a wonderful relaxing experience. Within walking distance to the fun bars with live music and restaurants. A very chill vibe, this was my second visit here and I highly recommend it!

We spent Memorial Day weekend here celebrating our anniversary. This hidden gem is our favorite place to stay in Sebastian. Close to Earl's Hideaway, Tiki Bar and Grill and restaurants. Very peaceful and relaxing. Carmen is so kind and welcoming!

This property is beautiful, peaceful and has everything needed for total relaxation. It's my second year going there with my adult kids for a perfect Mother's Day escape and also for close getaways for hubby & I. We love the location on the beautiful Indian River. Many choices for dining out close by. Service is fantastic. The innkeeper, Carmen, is so caring and accommodating every time we stay there. Amenities are great but we need to stay longer to make use of all that is offered. We have stayed in a few of the different cottages and they have all been immaculate. A lot to offer for the money.

We had an amazing visit for the 2nd time. This place never disappoints. Less then a mile to the shops and restaurants and you honestly feel like your on your own private island. Quiet, clean, family oriented yet perfect for couples. The unobstructed views of the inlet are amazing. The dock has seating where you can rest your mind and watch the boats go by and we even caught some dolphins jumping. The endless amenities kept us wanting to stay around longer. The fire pit in the evening was a highlight. It was the perfect ending to a perfect weekend. We’re already planning our next visit with friends for late summer. T

The Island View never disappoints. From Carmen making sure you have everything you need to enjoy the best possible stay to the beautiful cottages, well-maintained grounds and peaceful views. Close to everything. Shopping, restaurants and bars it's my only consideration when visiting Sebastian.

My recent trip to Island view cottages was nothing less than amazing. The cottages are very clean and cozy. Sitting right on the Indian river, I was able to go kayaking and enjoy some island time right by the river. Carmen was absolutely amazing! She made me feel right at home And was always available when I needed something. Her warm smile and kind heart was very welcoming. I would highly recommend island view cottages for anybody who is looking for a simple getaway either solo or with their family. They offer bicycles, and kayaks, and a clean, large grass common area with a double swing, and picnic tables, perfect for gatherings. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Carmen for everything you did to make my trip absolutely wonderful.

This was our 7th or 8th stay at Island View after discovering it 6 years ago. We love it! The cottages are all beautiful and the property is incredible and beautifully maintained! Carmen is a fantastic host and always takes great care of us! Our dogs love it, too! Biking distance to all the restaurants. Be back in August!

We are repeat visitors to island View. Every visit has been excellent. From watching sunrises with a cup of coffee in the screened patio of the commen room to relaxing on the chaise lounge by the river it a wonderful hideaway. The staff is there to make sure your stay is relaxed and hassle free.

Island View Cottages have the "Old Florida " charm with all the modern day amenities. Each Cottage is clean,cozy and beautifully decorated with its own unique theme. The location is very serern, right on the Indian River. Available for quests are kyacks, fishing dock, yard games ,fire pit and comfortable sitting areas sprinkled around the property. Watching beautiful sunrises ,playful dolphins and an occasional manatee swim by. Carmen's professionalism is outstanding. Ready to please with every request. You will not be disappointed with this choice. Looking forward to our return visit.
