Only stayed for one night but wish I never had to leave. Stayed on a Thursday night for a "Mom's Night Away", a Christmas gift from my husband. Saw the Inn online and knew immediately it was perfect. Opted for the early check-in. Received a warm welcome from Leila and had a lovely chat about the history of the inn and how her and Anthony came to own it. My room was perfect- spacious but cozy. VERY clean with every amenity I needed. (It may seem like an insignificant detail, but included with my normal fresh white towels was a designated black "MAKEUP" towel which I loved). Took the longest, hottest shower of my life and enjoyed the lake view from my room. The bed was huge and so comfortable, I slept like I was dead! Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. I rarely photograph my food before eating, but this time I did! The great room/dining area is so cozy and you can feel the history all around you. The worst part of my stay was check out because I didn't want to leave! My husband and I have already talked about planning a trip back together. I can only imagine running an inn is difficult work, so I appreciate every little detail that was thought of and the warm welcome and treatment I received throughout my stay. Can't wait to visit again! <3
