YHA Wasdale Hall - Hostel

"Wasdale hall is an absolutely excellent YHA , I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. It’s situated in the most beautiful part of the Lake District and provides a wonderful base in which to walk the Wainwright’s . The hall is one of the cleanest YHA’s I’ve stayed in and the staff are so helpful and friendly."

"Absolutely LOVED! this place. Perfect birthday night get away. Amazing decor, superior finish and super comfy bed (most grateful for our unexpected upgrade in room). Slightly out of the way but perfect for our needs as a luxury birthday night hottub getaway on a weekend walking. Room was gorgeous, super clean, just perfect. Thank you Faith and Steve xx"

"I thought the hotel looked a bit bleak from the outside, but inside it is really comfortable, fresh and welcoming. We had a couple of issues with our bikes, and the staff were happy to help us out. We only had breakfast, but it was unlimited and very nice! :-)"

"La notte, l'ultima prenotazione per l'appuntamento di lavoro e io rimarrò certamente quando nella zona. Un piccolo grippo era il letto era un giardino per me, ma mi sembra che questo sia molto un problema di gusto personale. E così per colazione..... e che colazione! Fresce fatto per ordinare, Piping caldo, ingredienti fissi e molte di esso! Uno dei migliori colazione che abbia avuto, e ho avuto qualche In mio tempo. Raccomando questo posto a chiunque visita la zona. . "

"We wanted a a nice getaway for our anniversary without travelling too far and this seemed to fit the bill. Check in was quick & easy, despite the young chap being kept v busy with bar duties. The weather was incredible, so the amazing beer garden (must be one of the best in the area?) was busy & buzzing with people enjoying sun, drinks and afternoon tapas. Our room was in the hall and full of character, but still had all expected amenities. Be aware some rooms in the hall are accessed by a steep staircase which may not suit everyone! No complaints wirh breakfast - freshly cooked and not greasy in the least. The best thing about the stay was the staff, who without exception, were amazing. A good base for exploring the local lakes/fells, or if you are visiting on business. Would certainly stay again."
