Hotels con Colazione a Scranton

Abbiamo avuto un piacevole soggiorno al Radisson a Scranton, PA. L'hotel è storico e bellissimo. Molto marmo e legno decorativo. È un vecchio deposito ferroviario e situato dietro di esso è il campo di calcio dell’Università di Scranton che ci è piaciuto guardare. Abbiamo avuto un delizioso colazione con un bel cameriere.Tutto circa il nostro soggiorno era di prima classe.

Ottimo servizio e pulizia in generale. Visita COVID-19 quindi non tutto era disponibile.

Room was booked as part of a travel package for a music event at the mountain. Check-in was 3pm, event’s doors open at 4, you would think they would anticipate a lot of people descending on the property at the same time. Many of the rooms were not ready at 3, leaving a large group of travelers stuck in a warm lobby or in line out the door in the hot sun. Instead of bringing out pitchers of water, or some token of appreciation for the wait, the woman at the desk just attempted to avoid eye contact with everyone. When we it was our turn to check in, the clerk told us that the room was not ready, it would be about 15 minutes, to sit off to the side and she will call us over as soon as it’s ready so we don’t have to go through the line again. After about 20 minutes, my husband checked with her and she replied “Oh, yeah, it’s ready.” Who knows how long we would have sat there if he didn’t check back? They only had enough keys to give out 1 per room. The electronic key through the app does not work at this facility. The key stopped working, and when we went down, the woman in front of him had a disabled key too. The alternative side entrance next to the elevator broke down, so everyone had to go around through the lobby. I wonder if that’s a fire code violation in case of a need to evacuate? The restaurant is closed, and the “continental breakfast” is a rolling cart full of gas station-style faire. The room was not clean. It did not look vacuumed. There were strangers finger prints all over the ice bucket lid. There was black mold and obvious water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, likely due to no exhaust fan. We started with an empty roll of toilet paper, facial tissue box was out too. There was a little dorm fridge on the floor right in the middle of the path to the bathroom, we moved it right away because it was surely something we would fall over getting up in the night to use the bathroom. There was a letter telling us they are not performing housekeeping during our stay because of Covid and to leave trash and dirty linens outside the door and to call the desk to request more. I have stayed many nights at hotels in the same price range for concerts and my kids travel team sports. I don’t expect a ton, but this place can do much better.

Sorprendentemente pulito

L'hotel è attualmente in fase di ristrutturazione. In qualità di ospite frequente, devo ammettere che ne ha bisogno. Era un reliquio degli anni '80 e ora sembra essere molto più moderno. Ovviamente, i vecchi mattoni stampati dell'hotel sono ora sostituiti da una elegante moderna piastra di marmo nel lobby. Sono operati senza un dispositivo ufficiale di fronte, come quello è stato rimodellato. Le strutture sono ancora disponibili durante la costruzione. Il servizio è ancora amichevole e accogliente. Il personale sembra essere molto eccitato per i cambiamenti. Non ho niente di male da dire sulla mia esperienza. Forse il parcheggio è un po' lontano. Ma solo perché gli spazi vicino all'edificio si riempiono rapidamente. Sono spesso in città e mi fermo nei giorni di notte, perché sono molto responsabili, ora con questi nuovi aggiornamenti mi sento come se stare in un hotel molto più alto.

Abbiamo bisogno di un posto per dormire sulla nostra strada per NYC. Questo hotel era direttamente fuori I81 e abbiamo sempre avuto buone esperienze con Hampton Inn. Il colazione complimentare è sempre bello. L'app Hilton ci ha permesso di andare direttamente nella nostra stanza dopo le 10 e di aprirlo via Bluetooth.

Sto guardando in questa posizione mentre guida a casa dopo aver trascorso qualche settimana in Florida. Questo hotel è molto ben situato vicino al I81 e circondato da molti negozi, ristoranti, stazioni di gas e forse di più. L'hotel e la camera erano molto puliti e il colazione era eccellente. Questo è un hotel che mi piacerebbe scegliere quando nella zona.
