I recently stayed at Blue Marlin Hotel and had an amazing experience! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room and food was perfect, and the amenities were top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I am giving it 10 stars. Problem is Uber & Bolt but you can arrange transport with the hotel to move around.

Was really looking forward to this resort after reading all the reviews and seeing all the pictures, however I was very disappointed with my experience here. If you're looking for a quiet holiday rest, this is not the place to go. I didn't mind all the activities that happened daily, but I at least expected the rooms to be quiet, which our first room was not. We requested to be moved due to the noise level, and the 2nd room was much better, however the bathrooms need a lot of maintenance. There was just rust every where and the bath tap was moving so badly I thought it was about to come off the wall. We also had the one night where the hot water just completely disappeared, as in the water stopped coming out of the tap. We reported it and then 15min later, they told us to try again...something about the boiler needed to be turned on by the maintenance guys. How do you even let that happen in a hotel full of guests?? Also it was always difficult to get the water to the right temperature, it took a lot of patience and moving of the handle from hot to cold and back again multiple times. We had to request for towels on our 3rd day, as the room was cleaned and they took all the dirty towels but forgot to give us new towels. The food was just ok but lacked variety especially for the kids. On a more positive side, the warm pool was really nice and kept the kids busy, Stacy was a gem and my kids always looked forward to spending time with aunty Stacy, the guy driving the tuk tuk to the beach was also very friendly and the restaurant manager too. Other than that, I would definetly not return to Blue Marlin as the rooms require a lot of maintenance, it simply accommodates kids as opposed to catering for kids and the tip of the bucket for me was the other lady who looked after the kids (Mpume), who was absolutely not accommodating at all and did not give me any comfort to leaving my kids with her.

They are the aboslute worst, I am waiting over a month for my refund as I had to cancel, they are extremely unprofessional. Please don't make the mistake of booking, if you have to cancel its difficult to get YOUR money from them. Worst customer experience ever!

From the King Shaka Airport we took a Shuttle to the hotel. Drive was about 45 minutes. When we arrived everything was ready, therefore check in was quick, no delays, even though lobby is a bit small. Rooms were clean and big enough, with sea views. Facilities, good. We took All Inclusive Package. Drinks flow all day long until 10:00pm. After that you pay for drinks ordered after 10:00pm. Entertainment at night is also good. They have one restaurant which makes services to be slow. Staff is friendly, willing to help, however I think the problem is with management because there aren't enough staff allocated per section, that makes our drinks order and delivery to delay. Variety of food is limited. Otherwise I would recommend it to someone. My family included teenagers, young adults and grandparents. Ohhh….., restaurant staff sang birthday song for mom and gave her a treat, small cake. . Thank you Blue Marlin.

We recently stayed at the Blue Marlin all-inclusive resort, which is beautiful, clean, and has friendly and helpful staff. But, we felt that the food could be improved, rating it 3 stars. We were surprised to find that there was no ice cream available, a major disappointment. Which holiday resort has NO ICE CREAM. The breakfast options were limited, and the egg station was extremely slow. The lady attending to the eggs seemed unfriendly and could even ignore guests standing right in front of her. She needs help We recommend ordering your eggs before the sausages and sides to avoid them getting cold. The croissants on the second day seemed to be reheated from the previous day, and the pancakes lacked sugar. On a positive note, the lunch options were really good on both days. Unfortunately, the dinner options were average on Friday and not up to par on Saturday. Saturday's dinner was particularly disappointing, with soggy and tasteless southern fried chicken, unenjoyable ribs, and hard wors. Being the main night. The only carvery option, available on Sunday, was roast beef. The desserts were also a letdown, tasting like a mixture of canned fruit and whipped cream. We think it would be great if the resort could invest in an ice cream fridge or improve their dessert options. We also found the cocktails to be a bit watered down, and the service at the pool bar was slow. It often took reminders to receive our drinks, which could take up to an hour. We recommend using the bar outside the restaurant for faster service. Lastly, we were looking forward to the entertainment options, but unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations. The website advertised dinner themes, but these were not available during our stay. Given the holiday season, we expected more. We hope that the resort will take our feedback constructively and make some improvements to enhance the overall experience for all future guests.

We took a flight to king shaka Airport and hired a car and drove for an hour to this hotel. The food was always fresh and tasty, different dishes per day with different themes. The hotel staff was extraordinary. I don't drink alcohol so they would mix some cordials for me and make nice different drinks for me. Entertainment was on point. The gym equipment is still new and there is variety. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely be going back again and we will also force our friends to go. What an amazing stay we had.

We spent the last week of Sep at this beautiful resort. The all inclusive resort was amazing. The staff are all so wonderful- from reception to the restaurant to entertainment and most importantly the kids club staff. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was the room we got was very noisy. You get all the noise from the furniture moving above and the people walking past. So my tip is to ask for another room if you get room 27 if these 2 things would bother you. Other than that it was amazing! The food was so delicious and plenty options. Thank you for accommodating my kids diet as well when there wasn’t anything for her to eat.

Beautiful resort, excellent food, dessert slightly limited but overall food and drinks are amazing. I’ve never met such friendly hotel staff, special thanks to Anton and Michael for assisting me with a car issue. Reservation dept on the other hand , absolutely incompetent. They made me change my online booking via a booking partner , when I did they then insisted I cancel that booking and book via them directly, stating they were charging me a room for one rate and my 3 year old was no charge, how that differs from an online booking for one if they charge a room rate still makes no sense. For the sake of peace I then paid an adult rate for a 3 year old , and then when I got to the hotel my booking was suddenly for 2 adults and one child instead of one adult and one child. I use booking partner apps all the time, at least 4 times a year , have never had such issues with hotels not sticking to their policies and staff not being on the same page. As much as they are trying to be current , probably they are not ready or able rather to be booking partners on such apps which led to a large inconvenience on my part and despite a beautiful stay , this has put me off.

Great concept but I feel the resort needs a breath of life…new coat of paint and updated signage. Staff was exceptional from check in to restaurant, to housekeeping. Food was OK, drinks menu OK. The kids had a blast and that would probably the only reason I’d come back for another stay.
