Hotel in zona Gartenmarkt Medewege, Schwerin

Questo è un bel hotel e molto deceduto dall'esterno. Mio marito ha prenotato questa gita e non è stato deluso. Schwerin è una piccola città con strade molto carine e non ero sicuro del tipo di alloggio che sarebbe stato disponibile. Abbiamo avuto problemi a trovare parcheggio, ma alla fine abbiamo usato la casa di parcheggio che costa circa 10 euro al giorno. L'ingresso all'hotel stesso dà una vecchia vibrazione, ma quando siamo arrivati nelle nostre camere era completamente il contrario. Una camera aveva una grande sala d'ingresso, e fuori che la grande bagno (solo con doccia) e una camera da letto altrettanto grande. La decorazione era moderna e minimalista ma pratica. Era tranquilla a notte, anche con le finestre aperte. L'unica cosa che mi ha disturbato è la luce automatica che si switchò quando doveva usare il bagno. Quando aprite la porta della camera da letto nella sala dell'appartamento, la luce si accendeva e non era così buona per l'altro occupante. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la stanza non essere costruita al primo mattino e il personale era scusante e aveva visto la nostra stanza per sostituire le nostre tovaglie. Non abbiamo mangiato all'hotel. Ma il ristorante sembra buono. Stiamo già pensando ai mercati di Natale a Schwerin e speriamo di restare di nuovo in questo hotel.

Herr Janke, is such a kind man we meet him after our orginal hotel had double booked on us for our wedding!!! We visited his hotel highly stressed and not sure how we were going to make our wedding happen. We were meet by a very calm and helpful gentleman. Who was able to secure rooms for us and also give us several ideas for our wedding. We viewed several rooms which were spotlessly clean and looked very comfortable. Most if the rooms are overlooking a small type of courtyard and very quite. It is excellent value for money too. Love the fact that he runs a honesty policy for the beers you comsume there are fridges that you can help yourself to beer and then tell staff on check out Schewerin is a lovely city well worth a visit. Yhe location of this hotel is excellent right beside the trams and the castle. Jennifer

I had stayed in this house before, even a few times, but a long time ago. Now I was shocked, because the way the property is run down is very scary and also very disappointing. What is fine as before: the location in the city is good and the Wi-Fi worked. But that was unfortunately already the positive experiences this time. The reception is only staffed until 22:00, so the concierge came right away also with the saying: I'm out of here, it's time to go home. Room card and bye. In the room, which at first superficial glance seemed fine, there were then the really disappointing surprises. And: A room change was now no longer possible because of the missing concierge. The main defect was the bed: Apparently the mattress is broken, because about 1000 nylon rods with a length of about 1mm pecked through the sheet when you sat or lay on it. That's how a fakir must feel. A pincushion of the finest. Every time I turned around I was awake with pain, so after two hours I decided to sleep the rest of the night in an armchair. Next to it, the facade spotlights shone into the room, and the darkening with blinds and curtains, which were not wide enough, worked only partially. Some of the furniture was really broken and the smoke detector was only visible as a socket on the ceiling. Next to it a lively cable tangle, which was obviously not built to the end. Also in the area of the corridors everywhere a considerable renovation backlog: letters of the lettering were missing, scuffs on the walls. The next morning at the reception, I complained about the night in the seating to the lady, who also tried to appease that problem, but could not or would not respond to my request for a 50% discount on the room rate. I also could not accept a free breakfast due to the upcoming customer appointment. My colleagues thought that I should have been fully reimbursed for the ”night”. A subsequent mail to the administration resulted in a 10% discount on the price. In summary: I think a new owner or management that will make the Plaza into one again, an it is urgently advised. It used to be a good hotel, but now it feels like the old GDR: no one cares anymore because no one owns it.

Arrived here late afternoon to a buoys front desk. No help with luggage, just a unfriendly hint to use the elevator with no definite directions. Room seemed clean but had the certain”used by date” smell. Carpet a grub, fridge empty but on. Toiletry bottles in vanity had no pump to be used so we had to use gel from the bath dispenser. It gets better from here… Love to have dinner we thought, so we entered the “restaurant”. No English speaking personal we found out… no dinner but a cold buffet for a fix price of €27. Mind you the buffet was *****ped by the people who been attending the function that took place next to the restaurant. So… no dinner than. Room service? Non to have. Check out time in the morning after breakfast again… buffet. Was ok and as one could expect. As hotel was pre booked on a named website, room was paid for. We left the room swipe card in the front desk and walked out again with 4 suitcases on our own with no help available. 2 hours later I got an email notifying me that hotel was unable to charge my credit card. I than clarified with website I booked that all details were correct. Next day I found my card was charged twice for the same room from the same vendor.( Hotel Schwerin Seven Lakes) once also additional €6 as penalty for a “failed” payment. 2 weeks later now, still no refund from this joint. My advise… stay away from this joint, it’s outdated, run against the wall and has non, whatsoever hotel character and flair.

Il personale è super amichevole. Le camere ristrutturate sono standard B e B. Sono attualmente ristrutturate lì. Sicuramente sarà bella. Torna indietro.

Il nostro soggiorno ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative, a partire da personale estremamente amichevole, molto utile alla ricezione, al servizio, anche nel vicino spa, e zona sauna. Le attrezzature erano corrette, tutto era molto pulito e mantenuto. Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo e ci aspettiamo la prossima volta. Questo hotel di resort è certamente un consiglio.
