This lodge has the most spectacular setting high up on the side of a mountain with uninterrupted views of Wadi Mistal. The altitude is around 1500m so the days and nights are nice and cool. The outdoor eatery is set out on different levels, all providing amazing views. There is a ~1km long stairway that goes up through the village and the beautiful oasis following a small water canal, terminating at a peaceful overlook – well worth doing. The drive up Wadi Mistal to the lodge is beautiful, and the last 3km adventurous as the road turns into a rough and steep 4WD road. The lodge itself is fairly rustic and basic, formerly village houses that have been renovated. Our 2-room suite was spacious and nicely renovated, however there was only one very small window, so almost no natural light. The resulting dimness made it a not very inviting place to hang out. It’s cool that it is an old Omani house, however a bit more natural light would be nice. The other problem was that the rooms had little sound-proofing - we had some noisy neighbors and we could hear all their conversions as we were trying to sleep. The steep pathway leading up to our room and up to the road was just loose cobbles and boulders, so very poor footing especially in the dark. Our AC and hot water were both great There is no Wifi connection but the 5G cell signal was quite strong and fast. The bed was nice and comfortable and the place was reasonably clean. The staff however didn’t bother to clean our room or provide fresh towels during our stay which was annoying. We had half-board and the meals were somewhat disappointing. The main problem was that the meal/portion size was extremely small, not nearly enough food for active people, but we were lucky that we had some of own food with us to supplement the meager meals. The meals were basic and tasty, but just too small! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. Our main complaint was the food. For the amount we paid for the room, I would’ve expected far better (and far more abundant) food.

Non importa se i tuoi amici hanno un prezzo elevato, ti consigliano di alloggiare in Canyon View.Non mi dispiace! La montagna è ancora fredda, può essere vista a circa 15 gradi, e molte persone in costume possono essere viste. Non lontano dall'hotel, c'è un punto di Diana, la principessa Diana e il principe Charles (ora re) sono venuti in Gran Bretagna.Può andare a piedi o guidare.Gratuito.Abbiamo visto il tramonto. Nota che il montagna deve guidare 4x4 o AWD. Il punto di sbarco della montagna ha un guasto di polizia. I veicoli che non soddisfano i requisiti devono essere fermati sul bordo della carta di consegna e trasferiti da veicoli qualificati per il montagna.Devo pagare, non so quanto costa. Se l'affitto di auto aman suggerisce condizioni, affittare l'auto intera per evitare problemi.A parte il caso di salire sulla montagna, a volte la navigazione della mappa conduce alla strada selvaggia, e l'auto intera può essere affrontata in questo momento.

Ingresso in Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar, mi trasporto immediatamente in un luogo di relax e è quasi quando il tempo è ancora in piedi. Non c'è dubbio che le norme di servizio siano state estremamente impeccabili fin dall'inizio, e sono sorpreso che il personale sia molto gentile, molto amichevole e prossimo. Sono particolarmente colpita da Cristina, un personale del Bella Vista Italian Restaurant, che è stata così amichevole e che ci ha fatto sentire a casa anche con una semplice cena. L'attenzione ai dettagli della fornitura è incline a sfondare e sono così impressionata dalla diffusione del buffet di colazione che sono sconvolto per le scelte. Nonostante ciò, la vista è assolutamente interessante e ogni volta che mi trovo alle prospettive dell'hotel sono sempre sorpreso dalla grandezza dei canyon che l'hotel guarda. Questo posto è un luogo di visita per chi vuole vivere lussuoso, glorioso vista sabbia eccellenti standard di servizio.

My family had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Grand. Every staff member I encountered , from the check-in to the kitchen staff were delightful and eager to help especially miss Fathima and Mahi. Special thanks to Mr. Virendra Singh , who showed us all the surroundings . Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious . They even have an Indian chef for those who enjoy Indian cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone .

La location è di una bellezza incredibile e l'hotel molto raffinato anche nei particolari. Ottimi i pasti, personale molto attento e gentile. Abbiamo passato due giorni meravigliosi di riposo, di sport, di camminate. Vale sicuramente il suo prezzo e il viaggio da Muscat. Suggerirei solo di meglio indicare i possibili treakking nei paraggi e i percorsi da fare in bici (presenti sul posto). Unico neo: le attività proposte sul posto dall'hotel sono un po`troppo care, soprattutto quando si è in tanti. Quindi abbiamo fatto tutto da noi. Un vero peccato: i prezzi dovrebbero essere più invitanti!!!!!!! E' uno di quei posti che non si dimenticano e in cui si ha voglia di tornare.

Ottimo hotel situato un po’ fuori città ma facilmente raggiungibile! Bellissima piscina su cui gravano le cene a tema. Noi abbiamo fruito della cena con barbecue ed era tutto ottimo e molto vario. Personale gentilissimo ottima colazione
