The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach

We enjoyed the Lodge and club. Our room was amazing--view of the ocean, fireplace, large tub, and roomy shower. Most of the staff were above and beyond (some not so much, but not terribly so. Just not as nice as others in comparison). Easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the adult pool and loungers for a few days. The main disappointment is that the pool is not very big, and the loungers get filled up. The other frustrating aspect is that you have to pay to have a chair on the beach. This feels like it should already be included with your stay. Paying for two chairs and an umbrella is frustrating when it should just be included. We ate at the Seaview grill at the lodge, but didn't have near as friendly of service as we did at the Inn Restaurant! (This is the main restaurant of the sister resort). For lunch we enjoyed the outdoor restaurant that overlooked the ocean. The family pool is across the street--lots more loungers there, but not near the ocean. Also, you can either play in the family area or only do laps. Not really other options if you aren't a kid or are not swimming laps. Overall, we would like to return and enjoyed our time a lot!

they charge double price for Valentine's day, but the place is under construction (the good pool is missing)

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and everything is always excellent!

We loved our stay Our room was exactly as described and pictured, with a bedroom, living room/TV area and kitchenette. It was extremely well-laid out, comfortable and provisioned. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the maid service was excellent. We ate dinner at the beautiful elevated dining room "in the round" on the evening of our arrival. The food was excellent and the service was very personable but efficient. We ate breakfast at that restaurant each morning of our 3 day stay and again found both the food and service to be excellent. The view of the Atlantic from that restaurant was absolutely amazing, as was our morning walk along the beach. All in all, this was nearly the overall best facility we have ever stayed at, second only to the Plaza in NYC, where we were lucky enough to stay in an executive suite (thanks to an IBM awards stay).

Every staff member was fantastic. Great ocean side room. Great stay.

Only complaint was our bed. It was super soft almost felt broken. Everything else was great.
