I had a fantastic stay at Sawai Madhopur Lodge – IHCL. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service from the staff, particularly Mr. Rajender Singh from room dining working there for last 33 years ,whose attentive and friendly approach greatly enhanced my experience knows in and out of ranthambore.His helpful recommendations and prompt assistance were much appreciated. Overall, the lodge offers a perfect blend of cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. As a surprise they had decorated the room for my birthday. They also have a pet handler sanjay that took carr of my pet when we had to go out. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Ranthambore.

Where do I begin. Well, before it even began ofcourse. My experience with Sawai Madhopur Lodge started a couple days before the check in, when Ashish called to check on the status of my reservation, and very patiently and knowledgeably clarified all my doubts about the stay, safari, etc, and offered a special arrangement since I had planned the trip to celebrate my wife's birthday. And then we reached the Lodge. The check in experience was breezy. The waiting lounge was supremely classy, with taxidermy strewn here and there, giving feels of a hunting lodge. Despite being the middle of the off season, the vast lawns and lush greenery were so impeccably and meticulously maintained, it was beautiful. Then the room. I'd like to call it understated elegance. It's a very unassuming place. It had the heritage feels. Nothing looked overtly fancy, but everything oozed quality. Not a single squeak in any of the wooden doors, not even in the metallic latches. Coming to the best part and probably the most important asset of the hotel - it's people. In our two day stay, we interacted with atleast 10-15 of the staff members, and the genuine deep warmth and care, that each and every person showered on us, was brilliant. Can't remember all the names, but Ashish, Ajay, Manmeet, Ramprasad, the guards, the dining room staff, the housekeeping staff, the buggy drivers, and many others, you're all gems. The little things they do, just win you over. For example, when we were leaving for our safari and the canter was about to leave, a staff member ran over and handed us water bottles to take with us, like we were little kids heading to school. When we returned back, it started raining 5 minutes before we reached, and we obviously got drenched in the open vehicle. Open umbrellas were waiting for us before the vehicle door opened. Since we were wet, we decided to just walk down to our room, enjoying the rainfall. As we reached, two staff members were already waiting for us with our room open and with towels in their hands. You can't put a value to that feeling. Coming finally to, Chef Kanwaljeet Singh. Not sure what adjectives are left for me to use here. Had the honor of interacting with him a few times, and he was such a genuinely sweet and humble person. And what an amazing operation he had running in his kitchen. We had breakfast there 2 days, and one lunch and a very special dinner. Breakfast - having been to multiple luxury hotels with wide lavish spreads, I firmly believe you might get a few great dishes, with most others ranging between good to average. Not here. We ate like buffoons, the food was so good. Probably the best breakfast croissants and pancakes I've had at any hotel. Plus awesome parathas, scrambled eggs, dosas, and local delicacies such as kadhi kachodi. Lip smacking brilliance. And then there was the special dinner they arranged for us. Wow. The beautiful setup, and once again, the food. The baos deserve a place on the menu, and the garlic

Well maintained property, warm hospitality and amazing food. Everyone welcomes with a smile and dedicated to provide u a memorable experience. Chef and team was very eager to care for your taste and u having a delightful taste and memories.Must visit with family.

I was very skeptical at the time of booking this property as to go for Taj Sawai which is newly built or this property which is old and in the main city. However to my surprise it did not disappointed me and was truly beyond my imagination. Property is located right at the heart of city still it feels completely different once you are in the property. This property gives you feel of iconic goa type property with such lush green lawn and truly spacious rooms, full marks to staff for going extra mile in making out stay comforable. Although there are some improvement required in pool area and kids playing area which I think will be taken care once new construction will be done. Although this is my 38th Taj Property, still I will rank it among top 5 just for the hospitality and well maintained lawn. Thanks again.

The staff and hospitality adds to the well maintained property. Stay was comfortable but for a one off issue of lizard in kids room which was professionally handled by the staff in night duty. Food quality and breakfast spread was excellent. Location is easily accessible close to railways and highway. Looking forward to returning back and experiencing the new built rooms in few months. staff guidance on tiger sighting is very useful...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It's one of the oldest hotels in Ranthambore which what makes it so enchanting to stay in. We had a suite which had 2 double beds and a separate living room. It was huge and really high ceilings. Having a separate living room and also an extra toilet helps if not everyone in your room is going on the morning safari. The rooms were appropriately appointed and had all required amenities. The dining área was a great place to eat especially in the morning with the live dosa counter. Eating outside for breakfast and dinner was very enjoyable as you can hear all the birds and no noise from the outside world. Food quality was really good. The swimming área was rarely busy and my son loved riding a bicycle around the property. We had booked all our safaris through an outside company. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay and hospitality , happy and smiley people around to take care and make sure your stay is comfortable. Lovely property with green and variety of trees. Good menu option for food and great service specially care of instructions and happiness

Celebrated my wife's birthday at their restaurant. Rajendra ji who attended us has been here since 36 years and arranged a candlelight dinner for us. He also entertained us with fascinating stories about the property and made the evening very special.

We loved the hospitality at the hotel...food was delicious...we had a wonderful stay...the hotel staff was very humble and caring especially Rajendar ji took great care of us...lovely set up of the property...it's interior a good depiction of heritage.
