Rather old fashioned looking rooms but it’s clean and functional. The location is very good in the middle of town. Very good value.

La chambre était agréable mais au niveau de l'insonorisation c'est pas encors ça car voisins à l'étage bruillant.Au niveau des services il faudrait au moins une bouteille d'eau comprise dans le tarif.Pour la propreté rien à dire. Petit déjeuner correct.
Pour la petite terrasse pas pu en profiter pas de petite chaise et pas séparation.
Pour le parking (carrefour)je trouve que 7 euros pour la nuit sa fait cher.

Having booked a superior room with a queen-sized bed we were given a poky room in the attic with a roof window and a large beam running between the bed and bathroom. When I questioned this with reception, showing the illustrations of what i thought I was booking and said that the bed was not queen-sized ... I was told they only advertised the best rooms and they only had 3 as shown on the pictures and that all the beds were the same. I pointed out that these were not queen-sized and that we didn't even have a proper window. I was asked how long we had been in the room and told if I could make it look like I hadn't been in it we could move. We were given an alternative room with a window but this was also small and was at the rear of the hotel looking over a building site. The room was unclean, flies on the window sill and the toilet was stained. Hotel was tired and furnishings old and fabric frayed. Location was okay but our stay was disappointing mainly owing to false advertising and not getting what we expected.

Good 3 star hotel in central location. We stayed 3 nights in a superior double in 1st floor. Room ok size, bathroom good as had bath and shower- all very clean. I liked the option of not having housekeeping every day, and was able to get refill coffee and toilet roll from reception when required. Air con worked well. We asked for a sheet instead of the duvet as it was hot, and they accommodated our request. Very helpful bilingual front desk staff. There is no lift, and a little bit of noise of people in upstairs room walking around. The parking was closed for building work, but easy to park in open car park opposite for 8 euros 24 hrs. We didn’t have breakfast as lots of nearby cafés. We would stay again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel. It is well located. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were traveling by bicycle and they seemed to be well set up for that. however, the room was tiny, I think it might have been just adequate for one person but it was very tight for two people. The double bed was against the wall so only one person gets out easily. The Wifi was at best intermittent.

Lovely hotel in the centre of this beautiful town on the banks of the Loire. Quiet comfortable and clean a great place to stay!

Mon mari a séjourné deux nuits (sur les trois payées) dans cet hôtel. Il a dû quitter les lieux prématurément car impossible de travailler et se reposer. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas et des travaux faisaient vibrer tout l’hôtel. Nous avons fait part de ces problèmes en personne au personnel de l’hôtel et par e-mail à la direction. Réponse condescendante et sans empathie de la part des patrons. Nous demandions le remboursement de la nuit où mon mari n’a pas pu dormir à cause du bruit et des commodités médiocres de la chambre, on nous propose deux petits-déjeuners gratuits lors de notre prochain séjour. Une belle blague… épargnez vous cet hôtel, il y a des hôtels bien mieux dans le centre de Saumur.
