I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at this hotel, which was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience of my life as a frequent global traveler. From the moment we arrived, we encountered unprofessional staff throughout the hotel, including reception and restaurants. Our rooms lacked basic amenities such as pencils, paper, and adequate toiletries, setting the tone for a subpar stay. Our experience with the restaurant staff was particularly distressing. We ordered six lunch boxes for our train journey the next day, only to witness during breakfast that one of your staff members clumsily dropped some of the boxes on the floor while transporting them on a trolley. To our horror, she picked up the spilled contents and placed them back in the boxes. When we opened the boxes on the train, we discovered that the items we ordered were missing or replaced with something else, leaving my guests with health issues hungry for 10 hours. Upon returning to the hotel, we brought this incident to the attention of the reception manager, and the Food and Beverage Manager, who offered a half-hearted apology, citing that the hotel was busy and failed to inform us of the shortages. We were assured that the cost of the lunch boxes would be waived. Kimberly at the reception showed me a handwritten note confirming this, but when I checked out the next morning, the charges were still present and the receptionist was not aware of the situation. After multiple phone calls and assurances from Kim and others, not only the charges were not removed, rather replaced by unauthorized transactions again this morning totaling $42 per room on my visa. This chaotic and embarrassing experience was compounded by the loss of my wife's long coat, which she left in the lobby during check out. Despite claims that the staff were looking for it, we have yet to hear back. The cumulative effect of these issues has left me incredulous and seeking immediate resolution.
