Holiday Village Turkiye

We have just came back from a week in Turkey (3rd September - 11th September) and what a week we had! We were a family of two adults, 9 , 5 , and one years old. It was such an amazing holiday from start to finish, we had a late flight so arrived around 3am, all checked in smoothly and our luggage taken to our rooms. Room was lovely, big double bed with tv and units, empty fridge which was amazing as could fill up with all our own drinks and baby milk, separate section for the kids with another tv, bunkbeds, bean bag seats and cot for our smallest. Nice size balcony with a quiet view of the hotel. Aircon was amazing and never had a problem with the bath or showers. WiFi was great never had a problem. The resort is amazing for families, so much to do and see, we all felt so safe and relaxed all week, the food was great - dinner was different every night, we especially enjoyed Chinese night! The bars cocktails were lovely and you were given real Coke and Fanta etc, slush puppies for the kids being included was also a bonus, as well as the free ice cream for the children. The resort was one of the cleanest and most looked after I’ve ever been to, rooms always tidied with fresh towels and you always saw workers watering plants and sweeping the grounds. It was £5 to the local market which had great deals, they prefer cash and English money so would likely not take lira next time. Special mention to the restaurant workers - so friendly to the children, always there to clear your plates, we especially loved Műyeser - she always brought us over teas and coffees in the morning, helped with getting a high chair and our evening drink orders, the kids adored her and nothing was ever too much trouble, she will be greatly missed! There were many kids clubs including crèche which we didn’t take advantage of but definitely will next time as we heard such positive things from parents. Great kids park and indoor arcade centre - so many games as well as bowling, Xbox snooker etc, so kids were never bored! The resort is on the beach so not a far walk at all, and it is extremely peaceful and clean. The entertainment team again were some of the best we’ve seen - different theme each night, there was Rock night, pop, comedians etc and the singers were amazing. We have already looked at booking again next year as we could not fault this hotel, and enjoying 36 degree heat was lovely, it was the best week from start to finish, if you have a family and want a safe clean space that has great weather and great location then definitely consider this hotel! Sad to be home after a lovely 12 days at The Holiday Village. We have never been before and have been pleasantly suprised with this hotel. Food - was a lovely selection, even with fussy eaters it caters for all. There is themed nights in the main restaurant and the other restaurants to eat at, Asian, Mediterranean & American has a kids menu at each if they didn't want to have this food. Each are different to the main restaurant food, much better quality, table service like a normal restaurant and a great atmosphere and view from upstairs overlooking the hotel ( not putting down the main restaurant because that was amazing too) Also main restaurant the staff were so helpful and friendly, even on the last day I was hoping for a cake that I'd had previously and loved and after a waiter finding someone who could understand my request they actually went to the back kitchen and dug out some of what I'd requested which went the extra mile for me. Room was lovely and spacious, had a family room and our beds were all really comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space, not so much in the kids den rooms. Cleanliness - I have read some reviews that this hotel is disgusting and dirty, how, I don't know because I've never seen a hotel be cleaned as much as here. Whether it's in the restaurants cleaning up after everyone at all times, or by the pool when people are leaving rubbish/drinks lying around, to the toilets being constantly cleaned from water on the floor or refilling things, to by the sunbeds in the evening being hosed down and cleaned, the gardeners also keep the grounds spotless, and general maintenance of the hotel is outstanding. Also the maids were in our room everyday and everything was always spotless when we came back in the afternoon/evening, they work so hard. Activities - We didn't do too many activities but we did do the chocolate party and movie night, and also our son took part in the football academy for 4 days. This was very well run and all the coaches were amazing, special shout out to Dan and Ciaron who got on very well with our son Owen. It hit over 40° while we were there and it did get hot for the kids, however the coaches have the kids health and well being as a priority and stopped to get them in the shade and have regular water breaks with their own fridge stocked with cold water and it made the world of difference. Games were fun and interactive for them all at all abilities and they make everyone feel welcome and included which is nice to see, they clearly love their job and all the children taking part had such a lovely time. Entertainment - the reps in the daytime and evening are some of the best if not the best reps we have ever seen. They are so full of energy, and bring the vibe during the day and into the night, you would never know if they were tired or having a bad day, nothing is a bother and they just make you feel so happy to be on holiday, some favourites were Sam, Jacob, Jake & Neil. Fantastic holiday! Just returned after 5 days here with a 10 year old. This is a family hotel and not suitable for couples. Hotel and grounds are spotless. Rooms are modern and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily. Close to the beach and there are plenty of pools for swimming, slides, and activities. It’s a great resort for families, as there is activities for all ages across the day. Evening entertainment in two locations across site. It was pretty cheesy but really geared to young families. The beach was also a welcome break from the pool. Some activities such as football academy you have to pay extra for, so just watch out for that. Food was fantastic. Lots of it and better quality than most all inclusive resorts. Lots of healthy choices. The only thing that was a let down was the drinks. The spirits, wines and beer on offer is all watered down. No prosecco unless you want to pay. Local town is 5 mins away and good for shopping. Great holiday. Would def go back again. Thank you team!

my first package holiday! My son was getting married at Holiday village in Sarigerme. My partner and I booked for 10 days and although seasoned travellers we had never been on a full package holiday. Our experience was just amazing. The staff at the hotel, and TUI crew were fantastic, friendly helpful and fun. Whole place was spotless, room comfortable with a separate lounge, dining was first class with a huge selection including themed nights with speciality dishes. Entertainment day and evenings was fun. Local drinks were included and snacks, ice cream etc all inclusive. I cannot rate this highly enough thank you TUI for a memorable holiday

It’s been my first time in Turkey and I’ve already booked again for next year. My son and his fiancé got married last week and d what an amazing day it was. Beautiful setting for a beautiful couple. The whole family had the best time. They are still there enjoying their holiday with the children but just wanted to say how amazing this place was. The hotel and grounds were gorgeous and the staff were very friendly at all times always on hand to help if needed. The food was lovely and very plentiful. All in all an amazing place and a fantastic holiday/wedding /birthday.

This was our second visit in 2 years and all positives remain but unfortunately so do the negatives. Positives The hotel, staff, cleanliness, food, rooms, pools and mostly everything else are absolutely amazing. The amount of work put in by the hotel staff here is incredible and they have an amazingly welcoming, friendly and beautiful hotel to show for it. The food alone is worth staying here as it is out of this world incredible! Negatives (our family’s preferences) - Smoking and vaping should be banned throughout the hotel and not be allowed, especially poolside or wherever people feel like it. Grown adults vaping / smoking in front of and on kids should not be encouraged. - The evening entertainment on the Activity stage is far too loud. I complained about this last year and the Tui rep moved us to another room immediately. This year there was no difference to the volume levels at night and the Tui rep this time around didn’t offer any solution. I do expect that if we decide as a family to not watch the entertainment in the evenings then we should have the option to find relaxation and a peaceful retreat in our own room. However, the music, singing, whooping, screaming (starts every night 9pm activity stage) and it is so incredibly loud that you can hear this throughout the rooms and have to endure it until 11:45pm. The activity stage is positioned in the centre of the resort and very close to most rooms so there’s no escape once the music starts. My only suggestion to Tui / HV would be to move the activity stage evening entertainment to the chill out bar at the other end of the hotel and make the activity bar the chill out bar in the evenings. This would bring a balanced and peaceful evening option to those with younger children who would prefer to get them into bed at a reasonable time ready for the next day. Holiday village Turkey was going to be our yearly family holiday for many years to come but as there is still no change in the evening entertainment and a thought for guests who prefer a more peaceful evening then we will not return again. Final point - There are more than enough sun beds to go around everybody. People that complain about sun beds not being available are the same people who expect to have poolside sun beds everyday. The same people take poolside sun beds everyday of their holiday from 5am, block the entrance and exit paths to the pools, smoke, vape and are very inconsiderate. They are specific types of individuals that aren’t worth the time of day and best avoided anyway. Which is why the hotel staff don’t bother with them.

The hotel and staff are excellent with lovely grounds and facilities. There’s a nice beach and good swimming pools, and a range of activities to entertain children and adults. The catering is very good with excellent meals. It’s also easy to find a table and access the food. The clientele is almost exclusively British with a few Turkish people. This gives it a ‘Brits Abroad’ type feel. The entertainment is also very loud and overall it’s a lot like a Butlin’s in the Sun. If that’s the sort of holiday you are after then Holiday Village is for you.

We didn’t want to come home! Our first time visiting Turkey and wow - what a great experience. Firstly the transfer time was approx 20 minutes through a beautiful village - the views! On arrival at the hotel we were able to check in slightly early (2pm). Room We had a family room with kids den. Very good size, air con was spot on, great views. The room was cleaned every day - it was spotless! We had the same maid and she was an angel! Couldn’t fault the room or how clean it was. Fresh water in the fridge every day. Only downsize is we would have liked some other choices in the fridge - maybe soft drinks? Hotel WOW! The hotel itself is beautiful. The grounds are stunning. The staff are constantly cleaning around the hotel, it was honestly spotless. I did get lost a few times because I have no sense of direction but everything was well sign posted. Good selection of shops on site - expensive though! Didn’t mither us which we loved. We used “Harry’s” shop in the village highly recommend. My daughter used the hairdressers - very friendly and fabulous staff. We used the arcades a couple of times which were good. Swimming Pools Spoilt for choice! The pools were lovely and warm (minus the indoor one!) we used all the pools. The pools did get closed a couple of times during our stay which was frustrating - would have been useful for staff to maybe put an annoucement out on the tannoy or have security around. We always managed to find a sunbed - the poolside ones were always snapped up really early but we still got one when we came down later. Lots of shade around too. Food Yummy! The food was our favourite part - it was always fresh and hot. We loved the lunch time buffet outside. Always a good selection of food. My daughter is a fussy eater and the staff went out of their way to help us, honestly some of the NICEST staff we have ever met! As a vegetarian I always found lots to eat and everything is very well coded. Entertainment Fantastic! The late evening entertainment did get slightly repetitive ( a lot of singers ) but we did manage to see some acrobats whilst we were there and they were unreal. We also really enjoyed the adult entertainment in the activity bar late on. The holiday village reps were amazing they did not stop from morning till night making sure everyone was having a good time. Our 5 year old absolutely loved it. We met some great friends whilst here and we honestly could not fault it. Trips We booked trips through Basket Travel (Facebook) highly recommend!!! They were incredible and definitely our favourite days of the holiday. We also got a taxi into the village a couple of times - taxi drivers were again, fab! Played baby shark in the taxi dor our daughter lol. We ate in Jokers Restaurant twice (wow) gorgeous food. The village was stunning, we didn’t get mithered to go into the shops and we really enjoyed having a walk around. We had the best holiday and are already looking at when we can come back. Th

Arrived 8th July, leaving tomorrow after a two week stay. Food overall was exceptional, so much choice and fresh fruit and vegetables always available. Our room was immaculate every day with a personal welcome on the blackboard from our maid Ferdy, who excelled throughout our stay. We felt rushed at dinner tonight, the waitress kept approaching our table, and made us feel uncomfortable, on pointing this out to senior staff, he explained it was her first shift, so that's fine. We enjoyed our trips into town, shopped way too much. We haven't enjoyed the entertainment, banal at best, however we realise that's geared towards the younger guests, which is fine, I enjoyed reading, meeting new people and my teenage girl has her game console. The pools were closed several times early on in the first week, due to ******* people defacating in the pools, they must have gone home as it stopped happening now. Disgusting and really don't understand what that achieves. Not the hotel's fault of course. Staff are so hardworking and efficient and helpful. We really appreciated your smiles and quick service, so the queues never built up for very long. Highly recommend this hotel we've loved it. Great people, great service and great vibe.
