Our house is within 2 blocks of dining and shopping so just pack your bags and come on over. Museums are also available in Saratoga (see local town history), Encampment (exhibits from all over county including a two story outhouse) and Rawlins (the old penitentiary held notorious outlaws and is said to be haunted). Saratoga is an outdoor recreational heaven- Spring and Summer: North Platte River (floating and fishing) , Saratoga Lake (boating, waterskiing and fishing), Snowy Range (Medicine Bow National Forest) for Hiking and scenery, golf and more. Fall and Winter : Hunting, Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing, , Saratoga Lake ice fishing. Join the local communities of Saratoga and Encampment in many annual events including rodeos, parades, mud bog races, ice fishing derby, skijoring, Wood Choppers Jamboree and more.
