Sarande: i migliori hotel con palestra

E’ un albergo a cinque stelle ma ha diverse pecche oltre alle sicure qualità che gli hanno fatto avere le cinque stelle. Di sicuro la stanza 609 che era una Yunior suite era ottima per la vista e la metratura. Nulla da dire anche per la pulizia della stanza ma di sicuro non è comodo avere solo una chiave per la stanza essendo in due come ti obbligano alla reception. Anche gli ascensori sono sottodimensionati rispetto all’albergo e purtroppo negli ambienti comuni, compresi gli ascensori il caldo si fa sentire. Punti di forza sono la SPA, la piscina sul tetto che è bellissima e la vista che si gode dal piano dove si serve la colazione. Insomma un cinque stelle che se meglio curasse i dettagli di alcuni aspetti sarebbe un VERO CINQUE STELLE. Così invece lascia un po’ a desiderare.

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Castle in August 2021, and we couldn't have been happier with this hotel and its staff. The hotel owns a section of beach just a few yards from the front door (it's across a little road, but less than a minute walk), and hotel guests get free beach chairs and umbrellas. Also just across the road is the hotel's restaurant with panoramic views of the bay and islands. I HIGHLY recommend that you order freshly caught fish out of the ice case in the entrance--the chef grilled the fish we chose to perfection. I'm still dreaming of those meals. The room was large and spotlessly clean with all of the amenities we wanted: soap, shampoo, towels, etc. Our little deck overlooked the sea, and our room had bunk beds for our teenage daughters as well as a large comfortable bed for my husband and me, plus a dining table and chairs, coat rack, mini fridge...everything! Also included in our room price was a HUGE delicious hot breakfast in the hotel lobby. Better than the accommodations, though, was the service. The owners and employees went above and beyond at every turn, even though we didn't speak a word of Albanian (other than hello, please, and thank you). On the night of my birthday, the restaurant wasn't serving dessert, but the waiter told us to wait--they'd whip something up. It turns out that the owners went out to a bakery and bought me a whole cake and gifted it to us, complete with candles. It was so generous of them! Another day, we went to the nearby national park (not to be missed, btw) but weren't sure of how to catch the bus (turns out it's easy, but we were clueless tourists), so the owner's son drove us there and back on his own time and in his own car. Hotel Castle made our stay in Ksamil truly special. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, and I give it my highest recommendation.
