Hotel eccezionale! Tutto al massimo: pulizia della stanza, gentilezza del personale, colazione ricca con prodotti freschi e ben assortiti. Attenzione massimo ai prodotti senza glutine e senza lattosio. Ambienti ben riscaldati nonostante gli spazi immensi; stanze con domotica e bagno grande super con doccia e vasca. Non si può desiderare di meglio! Complimenti al Melia! Sicuramente ci torneremo! All'esterno possibilità di parcheggio gratuito. L'unico piccolo neo è la distanza dal centro peraltro non eccessiva. Bravi i ragazzi dello staff!

I’ve did not like how toilet and showers designed in the room . Also sound isolation not good , we heard sound of closing doors of our neighbors since 7 am . Room of generous size and bed is great

Fantastico festa de Reveillon, decoração magnifica, banda muito animada, menu com muita harmonia, delicioso, serviço proficional. Proximo será certo que voltarei com a minha familia e amigos. Melhor hotel de Braga. Parabéns a equipa.

Meliá has good facilities and friendly staff, but it is not a hotel I will visit again. The indoor pool and steam room are reserved for premium customers. Standard room guests must pay €10 daily to access these amenities and purchase a swimming cap if they do not have one. However, the gym is available for all guests. Lunch and dinner cost €19.99 and €39.99 per meal, respectively. While there is a decent selection of cold food, it rarely changes and is not worth the €39.99 price, which does not include drinks. The pricing is attributed to the meat and fish options. However, the fish was tough and not tasty. On days with just one meat and one fish option, the cost is €19.99; on days with two of each, it is €39.99. The rooms are a decent size, but there is no physical barrier between the room and the bathroom, only a curtain. If you do not plan to use the restaurant for lunch and dinner or the pool and steam room, this hotel may be suitable. Otherwise, consider another option. It is about a 15-minute walk to the Braga Parque shopping mall.

A modern, well appointed hotel with great staff! Breakfast was fantastic! My only criticism regards the evening, buffet, with confusing prices. The cost was advertised in the elevators, but when you got to the restaurant, it was a different cost usually more expensive. Very confusing for clients. A further minor point was that tea and coffee was not replenished each day, which was a little frustrating for a five star hotel.

We had our wedding earlier this year in Braga. We had 200 guests, mostly family, and included our grandparents throughout to babies. Ultimately all our guests wanted to stay together so most people booked Melia. For our grandparents that have strict dietary and religious requirements, the suites with kitchens were perfect! The rooms were clean, comfortable with modern deco. From a hotel perspective (other than the quirky bathrooms, which aren’t everyone’s cup of tea) it is a great option. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly, they have a gym with a small charge as well and plenty of parking on site if you are driving/have rented a car. Breakfast is good and with advanced notice they can cater for dietary requirements as well. For transparency, we did have a few issues along the way: 1. We initially couldn’t get a hold of them via email and therefore just turned up, but did have a positive meeting. 2. When everyone started to book their rooms at Meila, they had issues managing the large volume of bookings so had to get personally involved and liaise between guests and the hotel. 3. We then decided to host our first nights event in their event room, which became a negotiation regarding the price and didn’t start int he most commercial of places, despite the volume of business we were bringing to the hotel that weekend. Nevertheless, the hotel brought in management, we had productive meetings and we ended up in a good place. When it came to the actual wedding weekend the hotel and staff were flawless. Everything went well and we had a great pre-wedding night celebration there and everyone’s stay was enjoyable.

Very professional and friendly staff. 5* service! Many options for breakfast, ingredients with quality, also when we had dinner. Room was large and bathroom was luxurious with a decor detail. Love it.

The Room was Nice and comfortable. We had some issues regarding the sink, it got stuck and water would flush VERY slowly, so we kinda improvised and had to use the bath tub to not constantly get water flooding from the sink. Despite asking at the reception for a fix while we went to town for a walk, we had no solution when we arrived. Another thing worth mentioning is that the hotel breakfast was good but they start taking the food out of the breakfast lobby really quickly. Breakfast time would go until 11am and at 10.57 am they were already closing the entrance (which we thought was fine) but also taking the food away. We thought it was very arrange and even saw another hotel guest asking them to bring a couple of cakes that they had already taken since they didn't have any time to grab them. Same thing happened with the eggs, bacon, and such. As soon as food started going, we couldn't reach for anything else on that regard. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. 4/5 would repeat

Let’s star with the star classification. This could never be a 5 star hotel in America. Appearance, materials like fridge, towels, paper tissue etc are 3rd class not compatible with a 5 star hotel. Bedroom is pathetic. Open style concept with no door between sleeping area and bathroom. No privacy at all and smell from toilette contagious all sleeping area. Single sliding door between toilet and shower area. It is like a 10’ x 5’ area divided in two by a partition that does not go to the top. One single sliding door one side closed the other open. Cannot close both at once. Door is in glass. When showering one cannot prevent water from running out. I stayed at a similar Meliã at the Lisbon airport and smelled of urine. Insane. I promised myself I would never stay there again but forgot it was a Melia and repeated the mistake. Never again.

Fab hotel in beautiful Braga. An oasis of calm in our busy world. A nice welcome Form Andre and Francisco, accompanied by Melia upgrade, I received a beautifully decorated room with a view of Bom Jesus Hills. Housekeeping level is excellent in room and hotel throughout .Marianna in the restaurant is a great ambassador for Melia, charming. Paulo too. Great sleep, lovely bath. Room is perfect. Braga is a great place to visit and Bom Jesus is wow. Highly recommend this lovely hotel. Thanks for all advice around the area.
