I ristoranti sono buoni, ma il personale non è sufficiente e la sicurezza dei ristoranti è piuttosto insufficiente. Tutti possono entrare nel ristorante e nessuno controlla.

Excellent views and excellent value. The location was excellent, just out of town and we had a fabulous view of the beach and the harbour from our corner 1 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies. The whole place was immaculately clean. From check in to leaving all staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, booking boat trips and even finding the England match for us on the TV in the lounge area as it had a wider selection of cable channels. Food is available at the bar- excellent hamburgers etc. 2 fridges with small ice boxes( take your own ice cube bags) in the kitchen with 2 electric rings and a kettle and toaster-plenty for light meals, rather than self catering for a family for an extended period. The pillows were lovely and soft and it was very quiet at night with just the sound of the surf and a cockerel (from the balcony), external sound proofing good. The heating ( and so presumably a/c) worked. We had specifically asked for top floor, which we got, as I know that with tiled floors furniture movement on the floor above can be noisy. The single beds were rather firm (personal preference), and couldn't be joined together which won't suit everyone. The local restaurants had early closing/erratic opening which was disappointing, but not a reflection on the hotel.

Can't tell you how amazing this hotel is - we go to it every 6 months. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Im ridiculously fussy and drive myself mad to be honest, I've always had issues with my childs health from he was little so we have always needed to bleach everywhere and travel with Dettol wipes and anti- mite plug ins and goodness what else but I have come to learn that i dont need to do this in this hotel, you could eat your dinner off the floor as we say in Belfast. We took my pops away this time with us because unbelievablyhe has never had a foreign holiday, and he's nearly 70 years old - he was blew away. Food is amazing - My son Jack has ADHD &Autism, and he is extremely fussy about his food, what it looks like, what it feels like, the textures, the colours. It's a nightmare, but he loves the grub at Vila Galé. There's never an issue. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, pool bar, Alá Carté restaurant, ”The Masafina”. There is so much to choose from. My daughter Annie loves the food too, she's usually eats like a mouse but eats like a horse when we stay here, haha. There's nothing better for a parent in my humble opinion, to see your children sitting down to lovely big plates of healthy food from all different continents. There's a spa, 3 different steam rooms, massage rooms, yoga room, a big Gym, jacuzzi, large heated indoor pool, tennis courts, golf course, splash pool Park especially for the children(and big kids ie: adults haha), volleyball pitch, football pitch, table tennis, adventure park, big trampoline (which is really good fun), fruit tree orchards, herb gardens, pool tables, darts tables. There's things I will be leaving out because they weren't as important to us. This hotel works hard for conservation, they grow their own fruit. There's olive trees everywhere all over the hotel grounds too. The grounds that surround the hotel span a couple of miles- it's a beautiful walk. Obviously they have an outdoor pool too, but you see it in the brochures and yes, it really does look that stunning. I should probably mention that the pool bar don't just do ”run of the mill” food- we are all vegetarians so we always get stuck with things that way. They do the most gorgeous veggie wraps, salads, veg burgers etc. The pool bar menu is stunning. The ice cream is Carté Ďor and they have an amazing sugar free range as a family member is a type 1 diabetic, which has led us all not to take sugary drinks. The public toilets are always in immaculate condition, always spotless, shining, soap, toilet roll. No problems there. Rooms are lovely too. Housemaid are amazing and do an amazing job. The restaurant staff are amazing. The hotel staff at reception are great too. I hope this review helps, I highly recommend the Vila Galé Lagos, Preia Meia, Portugal. Its expensive in some peoples opinion but- to me I always believe you get what you pay for and if my children are looked after and happy, that's all I want. I'm 100% happy. Fabulous hotel. The location is great, the electric window blinds keep out any noise - we were on the 1st floor facing the water and heard NOTHING! The room is decorated beautifully but enjoy it when you first arrive because the minute you start unpacking it becomes a mess! There are no drawers or shelves to put things on, just a small closet to hang a few items. I won’t dwell on the bathroom since all other reviews have mentioned it, but after being married for 36 years it really wasn’t a problem for us. We couldn’t stop talking about the breakfast, it was delicious. A lot of variety and the poached eggs were done perfectly. The staff was a little young, and came across a little snooty at times but not enough to dampen the time spent here.

Grande posizione, a circa 10 minuti a piedi a Lagos Old Town e Lagos Marina. Molte bellissime cibi vicino. Emmanuel dal desk front era molto utile per noi e ci ha mostrato il modo chiaro, consigliato anche alcuni buoni pasticci. Il personale che ha consegnato i nostri kit dentali alla stanza era molto scomodo, anche se.. forse non gli piaceva proprio a noi haha. In realtà si può perdere in questo hotel perché era un lago. Tuttavia le strutture erano così date e vecchie. Il guardaroba della mia stanza era così vecchio che sembrava che andasse a crollare in qualsiasi momento. Anche in quella stanza c’era un strano odore di cloro molto forte e non si scompare nemmeno dopo un giorno. Sigh, ci siamo resi conto che potrebbe essere da giorno in giorno, perché probabilmente l'avevano lavato con biancheria per rimuovere le stenole o qualcosa del genere.. mio marito ha fatto un cazzo e voleva cambiare le camere, ma l'hotel sembrava una casa piena con gruppi di tour da Francia, Regno Unito e altro ancora. La colazione era buona, la stessa cena era servita per le due notti che mi sono fermata. Sarebbe bello se potessero fare qualche lavoro di manutenzione, come ripiccare l'intero edificio. Le porte delle camere dovrebbero essere cambiate anche perché erano così dure da aprire e chiudere - si sentirà gli ospiti chiudendo porte chiuse per chiudere tutto il tempo! Molto strano perché tutte queste improvvisazioni non sono state fatte quando il viaggio non era consentito durante i tempi COVID. L'hotel sarebbe una bellezza assoluta altrimenti.

L'hotel è situato in una strada molto tranquilla nel centro della città. Semplice ma molto pratico. La colazione viene servita in camera (motivo covid) Buona biancheria da letto e wifi funziona bene. Un piccolo balcone decora il tutto. Buon indirizzo per visitare Lagos. Ma attenzione a non fermarvi. Ci sono solo 2 depositi bagagli all'inizio della strada (30m dall'hotel) Ci sono alcuni posti liberi per strada... ma lo spazio è pieno, pieno Il parcheggio sul viale lungo il canale a 600 m dall'hotel costa 12 euro/giorno.

Buena ubicación. Cuarto cómodo. Desayuno delicioso. Muy recomendable hotel.

Very cute BB tucked away in the city center of Lagos by the water. Staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was a solid continental type. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Very close to both bus and train station and again in the center of the old city so you can walk to numberous resturants and activities. There are only stairs here however if that is a problem for anyone. We stayed on the first floor and I believe there are only 3 or 4 rooms in total. Would stay here again. Quaint and small.
