The place is hidden behind the alleys but still a great location. Walk 5 Minutes to the beach, for either side of peninsula. Gavin is cool, very helpful. The room is just want you need. And amazingly Clean!!! Window is as described by other reviews, the view is blocked but the room still gets light and fresh air. This is the only place I'll probably stay from now on.

The room is super spacious for this area, but the window faces the other wall, which actually makes it more quite. I enjoyed staying there one night and definitely recommend it!

we loved our stay here! it was super clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient. there’s construction going on outside, but you can still see the sea from the balcony. the pillows were maybe the best I’ve ever slept on. same-day laundry service was amazing and the dog in the courtyard is so cute.

The room was comfortable and clean. My only real gripe about the room is that although there is a window the building next door grew taller giving you 3/4 view of its side. Other than that, its pretty quiet and you can get a good night's rest.

Loved this hotel and village so much that we extended our stay! The hotel is practically brand new and is so tastefully decorated and clean. It’s located in a quiet alley away from the loud and busy beachfront, but still super close to the beach. Staff was really helpful and friendly too. The owner/ manager speaks good English which makes it so much easier. Highly recommend this property!

The location is not beachfront, but if you want to be away from the pounding nighttime music and get a good rest, this location is the BEST! Add in the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered in five years of traveling around 10 provinces in China, and you’ve got a recipe for sweet sweet dreams. Gavin is super helpful and kind. If he’s not around when you arrive, call the number and he’ll be able to answer you in English or Mandarin. The photos are the view from the balcony during and after typhoon Chaba passed by.

The hotel is new, clean and quiet at night (which makes a difference when you want some good rest in Houhai). The location is a bit far, but not q challange. The front desk is friendly and will help you any time you need, as long as you can find them there (if there’s nobody in the front desk you can call them, they will show up). Nearby some restaurants and convenience stores, so it’s fine. Would stay again if stauing in Houhai!

Room is modern and nicely decorated but the tropical garden in front of the balcony is now a construction site. The street is not noisy but you can here construction, neighbors and everything in the hotel as sound insulation is quite poor. Service is very basic, room service takes forever, towels are not being changed. One bad example for service: I asked for late checkout which was immediately rejected, we could just leave the luggage at the reception. But coming back 3 hours later to pick up the luggage, I saw that our room was still open and service was not yet done. So seems like it was not so urgent to be cleaned after all… In total also overpriced for the small rooms.

This hotel was a great find! It is located in the village, away from the beach front but only a 5 min walk away. Many restaurants and shops only a 1 min walk away. Due to it being away from the beach and major bars, it’s also much quieter which was great! The room was clean and well maintained and the price was very good for the quality. Definitely would stay here again!

Great location, in a quiet road. The main problem is that it has no facilities only rooms and mine overlooked a wall, which made it very claustrophobic and dark.

Great young owner who understands hospitality management! The hotel is in a back alley, but it's 2-3mins away from the action and the beach great location!

I very much enjoyed my stay at Lucky No. 6. The room is very clean. The floors are swept nicely and you don’t feel all the sand for the day at the beach. Also the laundry service is quite convenient. The decor is very cute as well! It can be hard to find at first but you get the hang of it. Get place to stay!
