Beautiful colonial hotel in a fantastic location in Antigua, it has a beautiful rooftop with a great view of the city with the added feature of the “I love Antigua” sign. In the rooftop you can go for drinks, a romantic date or simply grab a bite.
The room was big, comfortable and kudos to the renovated bathrooms with a great shower.
Everyone was very nice, overall great experience

Room was a schosh small, the bathroom was amazing and spacious. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was truly spectacular with a great view of Fuego Volcano. The courtyard was quaint. Bring your own water to brush your teeth with. Very close to the square, but away enough the noise isn’t bothersome. Breakfast is included

I enjoyed my stay here, all the staff had absolutely great hospitality, the only thing is the green blanky on the bed didn’t seem to be washed i found lash extensions on it, however everything else was clean. Free breakfast was great they have a big variety options. Overall I recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's close in proximity to everything that you'd want to have! The shopping, other restaurants if you don't want to eat there, and just an overall friendly, wonderful experience!

The hotel is walking distance from main attractions. The first room assigned was a small closet with low to zero light, extremely high beds where you needed steps to jump in, no closet, the very high window was shut down with a curtain that was not possible to open. The second room was airy, with a closet, with two windows and normal beds. The linens are excellent. The terrace restaurant has wonderful views and the food very good. The staff in general but the guy at the reception, are courteous and ready to help.

El Carmen was a great place to stay. The food was amazing and the people were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay at El Carmen. The room was very clean, and the hotel itself was within walking distance of most sites / attractions in Antigua.
Their breakfast options were very tasty and you get a great view of the mountains / volcano from the rooftop patio.

Beautiful and amazing hotel nice and clean, morning breakfast the best , , They have the best coffee OMG ( no es broma ) the best platanos fritos con frijoles, and the staff people at the restaurant were very friendly and polite. 👍
