Non EU citizens: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL I am fully vaccinated since April 2021 and boosted since November 2021. My CDC card is stamped by the George Washington Hospital in Washington DC. And I have a letter issued by my physician stating my vaccination status. I used my CDC card to fly to Lisbon, PT and for more than a week in several hotels throughout Portugal. Upon arrival at this hotel, an obnoxious man refused to check me in because I don’t have a Portuguese vaccination certificate. He said I had two options: (1) show the Portuguese vaccination certificate or (2) get a test. I can’t get the Portuguese certificate because I took the vaccines abroad. And he was completely unhelpful regarding getting a test (it was a Sunday all pharmacies are closed except a few and even he said probably we would not be able to get a test)… I ended up driving 30 kms at night to another hotel were they happily accepted my CDC card and offered a discount on the online rate. To add injury to insult, the hotel REFUSED to issue a refund.

Stayed for 2 nights at start of a cycling trip. Large comfortable rooms, quiet and dark at night, meant good nights sleep. Ate both nights at Hotel, food was very good again service was excellent. Good breakfast, all in all a very nice stay. Bit cool for the pool, and mountain biking down to the coast was good. Quiet region.

Beautiful hotel, great check in offered a cookie and a drink. Every staff member was so kind and answered all our questions. The rooms were beautiful and the back patio had amazing views at sunset. This was our first day to start our hike on Rota Vincentia. We had a great dinner, nice breakfast in the morning. The staff packed us a wonderful To go lunch for our hike that day. All around great service and beautiful place.

We had a garden room with patio overlooking the old town, the sunsets were spectacular. The room was well appointed and had everything we wanted. The bathroom was ok although a little tired in places. Breakfast was fine and dinner in the restaurant was good. The service from the team was ok. The hotel could do with some TLC in a couple of areas. Pool is good. Overall I would rate this hotel as 3.5/5

Fantastic hotel - driven by wonderful design, excellent food and most importantly staff that go the extra mile - from Marta who served us a wonderful lunch & assisted us at breakfast, the cleaning staff - the hotel is spotless but they are also super friendly to the front desk who go the extra mile to ensure you have a great time. I will return again and hope to do one of the cookery courses- well done and thanks again

We have just spent the past 5 nights at this wonderful, cute & quirky hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. We had a room with a terrace which was so lovely. We ate in the restaurant for 3 nights and 1 lunch and everything we had was of the highest quality with a good menu choice. But what stands out most is Joao ( the hotel director ) and his amazing staff - nothing is too much trouble for them. They were friendly, polite and always had a big smile on their faces. A special thanks to Alex and his gin & tonics and the Two Ana’s who were just delightful. A car is a must in order to explore the stunning beaches as there is not a great deal in the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for making our holiday with you extra special.

We spent just one night here, but the place is amazing. All the staff is very professional and attentive. From the Reception Team, to the housekeeping team, and also the Food and Beverage team, they are all very kind and here to make your stay unforgettable. Because of a very small time, we didn’t have the chance to have dinner in the restaurant but the menu seems to be amazing

I just want to say THANK YOU to JOAO, who has been the friendliest of hosts. His precious advice, and genuine enthusiasm made a huge difference to our stay. This hotel works well for families with small children - rooms are comfortable, little noisy though - the food is really lovely. Great base to discover the area but it's not a luxury hotel per se. A very good option for Santiago do Cacem!

Very nice hotel located in a beautiful place. Santiago do Cacém is a quite nice village with a good restaurants not expensive at all. It has good beaches 30 minutes away by car. The hotel is fashion with a new concept of restaurant which is integrated with the Bar and reception zone. It has a beautiful pool surrounded by nice garden. The service is very good. All the staff are very kind and allays available to satisfy your requests/needs. I recommend to all how wants a relax days of vacation.
