Sercotel El Balcon de la Bahia Suites

Un appartamento nuovo senza cucina e con parcheggio a pagamento (10 euro). Probabilmente una bella zona per gli standard spagnoli. Sfortunatamente, non succede nulla nel quartiere e non c'erano nemmeno belle viste. Il tutto era troppo costoso per me se includo il parcheggio necessario. Era tranquillo con pochi ospiti. Un forno a microonde avrebbe sicuramente senso qui, in modo da poter preparare qualcosina.

Abbiamo adorato sia Santander che El Balc n: la nostra camera era eccellente, pulita e molto confortevole con un piccolo balcone con vista sulla città e sulla baia. George (Jorge?) È stato eccezionale, un caloroso benvenuto e un sacco di informazioni sulla zona locale, dove andare e in quali posti mangiare. Il nostro preferito era Casa Lita, il bar di tapas sul davanti che abbiamo visitato due volte durante il nostro breve viaggio. L'hotel si sta espandendo nel prossimo edificio e quindi speriamo di tornare l'anno prossimo e soggiornare di nuovo nel nuovo ampliato El Balc n de la Bah a Suites! Grazie ancora George e tutto lo staff per il vostro aiuto amichevole e professionale e speriamo di rivedervi l'anno prossimo.

L'esperienza è stata piuttosto spiacevole. La stanza non soddisfa le aspettative, è una dimensione giocattolo per due persone. Il letto è in miniatura ed è difficile o colpire una delle lampade che hai appena sopra la testa. Inoltre la camera ci è stata data direttamente sull'androne, non avendo assolutamente privacy. La doccia in bagno, poiché non aveva abbastanza pendenze o scarichi, faceva bagnare il bagno dappertutto ad ogni doccia.

Lovely welcoming staff, lovely room (34) comfortable bedand pillows, perfect room temperature and great location. If you’re looking for Italian food try Pinocchio Pizza just down the road and for delicious seafood Marucho just down the steps.

Great location, accessible by foot to lots of Santander sights... Magdalena Peninsula, Sardinero Beach, Centro Botin and excellent range of bars/restaurants. The rooms were small, but perfect for a long weekend (well equipped incl. Coffee machine, fridge, safe). Spotlessly cleaned each day and restocked daily with coffee pods, fruit, cake. The hotel has a shallow pool and sunbeds (we did not use use due to weather, but imagine the area would be a nice retreat on a hot summers day). Good value and an impressive boutique hotel.

We stayed here for five nights to visit our daughter who lives in Santander - what a gem of a hotel! Very clean, very quiet, the staff were excellent. They helped us with directions, gave us recommendations, and they were so helpful in every way and so friendly. I loved the little extras in the room like the breakfast items - a lovely touch. Hotel was spotless. I would definitely return.

Everything about this place was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Check in was done online before we flew, so, after a complimentary glass of Cava, we were straight up to our rooms. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the city (paid upgrade), coffee machine and pastries re-stocked each day. Daniel, the concierge, was outstanding and couldn't have done more to assist us; he really added to our experience and provided us with everything we needed, including a map with the hotel, best restaurants and tourist destinations marked out. The hotel was 10 minutes walk to the waterfront and downtown (depending on your walking pace) and everything you needed was very close-by. We would 100% recommend and would love to return in the summer. Thank you!

To anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Santander then this is the place for you. From start to finish this hotel offered everything we could need to make it a perfect stay. From entering the hotel and the checking in process, to the recommendations on what to do, where to go and what to eat, to checking out everything was faultless and we feel very looked after during our whole stay. The rooms have everything that you may need to make a very comfortable stay. The rooms have a fridge to store food and drink, a coffee machine with pods provided daily. Complimentary fruit and pastries after each room clean and every small detail looked after. Words can't give the hotel enough credit for the service they provide and how they made us feel during our holiday and made everything so faultless. A huge credit needs to go to all the staff, the front of house staff for making you feel welcome and looked after all the way through, the cleaning staff for doing an amazing job at cleaning the rooms. This is one trip we will be making again and this hotel will be the first one we look at booking. Thank you again for an amazing stay!

The hotel is located in an elegant residential area of the city, within a distance walk from the centre (important: if you are arriving by car, book a parking space in advance, otherwise, you will have to park on the street, where it will be difficult to find a parking space). An elegant mansion, with a courtyard pool. The staff were extremely helpful, rarely seen elsewhere. The room (20 m2) we booked was advertised with a view, which was on the ground floor, so don't pay extra for this. The room was clean and tidy, served some local sweets. Otherwise we didn't really understand the furnishings of the room, the bed was on top of a wardrobe, but it was comfortable. Apart from a few minor details (the fan in the bath and fridge did not work properly), we were satisfied. Recommend, if you get a reasonable price.
