Loved our rooom in the Carriage House, except tha the Wi-Fi there never worked. The front desk said they often have trouble with it in those rooms. It was inconvenient to have to come to the lobby for Wi-Fi access. Otherwise the room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. We would have appreciated a small refrigerator for our traveling snacks.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Some things in the room did not work well' coffeemaker, bathtub plug, etc. However, I love this old ambience and the convenient location.

This historic hotel is in the same building as Grossman's, a deli which attempts to duplicate New York deli’s. It's very good and creative, but not New York good. (Yeah, that’s where I grew up.) Go figure.
Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. The room I had was basic, but very clean. It did not have any wall art which it seemed to need. The mattress was firm but comfortable. When I arrived, the front desk said that the heat was out but they hoped to get it back that night. The room did have one of those small heaters and it was remarkably effective. Parking was not directly across the street (the rail station), but half and block over behind a coffee shop – reserved for the hotel only.
All in all, a very good experience in an historic building at a good price. Who could ask for anything more?

Property is a historic building near the train station and several restaurants. Although we didn’t eat at the downstairs restaurant there is one available. Had I known about street noise I would have requested a room on the inside of hotel as opposed to street side. Early morning trucks at 5:00 am woke us. The bed was comfortable. The carpet was very bumpy/wrinkled. It definitely needs to be replaced. An individual with walking issues might trip. Bathroom was so so. Towels are your average hotel towel. They do provide a Keurig in the room which was nice. Parking is down one block across the street. You have to get a pass and put on the dash. It was pouring rain when we checked in so that was kind of a bummer. They do have an elevator. I’d stay again because it was quaint and easy to walk to restaurants but I would request an inside room.

We stayed in the Carriage House across the street from the main hotel which at first bummed us out. But once we got through the iron gate into the small courtyard and through our private small patio we lightened up; it was so lovely. The room was double Queen and a very comfortable size for our party of 3. The room was clean and neat. I didn’t notice a fridge but we had a cooler. My only complaint would be that the restroom didn’t ventilate very well and quickly became damp so I had to prop open the door, not a big deal just an fyi. The staff was kind and attentive. I saw a groundsman walking the property cleaning up, you can tell they take pride in their property. The coffee shop across the street was also amazing! We will stay here again.

Check-in was easy and the staff were nice and helpful. Grossman's Noshery was conveniently located downstairs (although a little pricey) and there were other food spots within walking distance.

I had surgery so I requested and received a room good for recovery. The room needed a chair comfortable for sitting in for a period of time but otherwise was fine. Service was fine.

The room smelled horribly and we asked for a different one. The second room smelled even worse. We went out for dinner and immediately after checked out.

This is our 5th stay here. We love that every room on the historic side is different. Charming little nuisances left and right and up and down. Grossmans deli/bar/restaurant is now one of our favorite spots in Sonoma County too.
