Motel 6 Santa Rosa, NM

This hotel is exceptional…due in part to the woman at the front desk. She was very welcoming and informative. The room is very roomy, clean and neat. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. There is a gape in the fence making easy access to the Dairy Queen next door!

Do yourself a favour… DO not stay here!! We had booked on line thinking it looked okay from the reviews and the pictures. Our room did not look anything like the pictures! When we arrived we checked in through a glass window. That should have been our first clue of the clientele. We were at the very back of the building. We climbed the very poorly maintained stairs and found a room with a padlock on the door. The second room had a broken window. Not something you want to see when your room backs onto the highway. Drug deal gone bad?! The door of our room did not look terribly secure. I had visions of the police kicking down the door in search of drug dealers or ***********. Hard to sleep when the there is light coming through under the door and where the curtain let in light at the side. Plus the traffic noise was very loud, The bed was horrible. The mattress should have been dumped years ago. The sheets and blankets were very old yet they seemed to be clean. We got one flat pillow each. Let’s just say we did not have a restful sleep. Drive by this place. It’s best suited to one hour rentals. I will never stay at a motel 66 again. Last night we stayed at a Quality Inn and had a very nice stay for not much more. And we got breakfast. Mind you even if Motel 66 had provided breakfast we would not have stayed for it. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

We spent 2 nights there in August 2023. The room was not clean. The only places in the room that were cleaned were where you can see. We accidentally dropped something so I had to go under the bed to find something - the floor was black and gross under the beds and there were old food contasiners which may explain that the room smelled when we opened the door. The beds were old and uncomfortable. I woke up in the middle of the night with a pain from my hip radiating down to my ankle. My brother didn't fare much better. Spend a few more dollars and avoid this place. It is not kept up at all.

This is worse motel 6 ever. Old disgusting and rundown. Had room by interstate and lots noise. Surprising bed was comfy but used my own bedding. If we were not so tired from being on road couldn’t stayed here.hardly any toilet paper, good thing I had sone in vehicle.

Ok hotel, nothing fancy, clean, reasonably priced. Conveniently located on Rt 66. If you are passing and are not looking for a 4 star hotel, this one can work. A problem with wifi hookup. Over all, typical motel 6
