It is definitely a place you would not want to miss if you are looking for cozy and elegant relaxation. It is a lovely place to rest and enjoy Minca’s view inside there infinity pool deck. Their staff is kind and helpful with a nice smile at all times.

Wonderful place! Enjoy amazing views to the luxurious tropical forest and coffee plantation trees from their own place. The ambiance is great and relax. Staff is really helpful and the food is quite tasty and good. Most of the products are locals.The rooms are pretty great. Swimming pool has an amazing view!

Besides the best views you will ever see, this hostel feels like a 5 stars hotel. Everything is amazing, clean and in good condition. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly :) The shared rooms are very good as well as the bathrooms (with hot water, something that is not common in the coast) !

I highly NOT recommend this place, it was the worst of all the accommodations we tried in Colombia. It is very misleading that this place is mainly an Hostel (although not clear during the booking), so despite paying a very premium price for a double room we received a terrible treatment and the services quality of the lowest grade hostel (e.g. asked to clean yourself plates used for breakfast, room not cleaned, long waits to find anyone at the reception desk, people screaming and running around). If that is not enough, we also did not have warm water the first night and they seem to really not care as we had to remind them to fix it for 3 times the next days).

We came here on the 27th of march for 2 nights and it really was the most beautiful hostel we stayed in. The private room was perfect and really clean. The pool and view unmatched. The only down side was the food. Being vegetarian there were only really 4 options for lunch and dinner (aside from pizza in the afternoon) and I had the pasta once it was really salty and not very tasty. Breakfast was dry and again not many options. I asked for just scrambled eggs on toast and they couldn’t do. I also asked for a smoothie without banana and they couldn’t do because they are pre packaged. The pizza was okay but didn’t seem homemade. My partner had the best of the sea which wasn’t what it said on the menu. We actually got a taxi to Minca village to have a meal the next day. I think that because the hostel is really out the way and in such a lovely natural location there should be lots of fresh options. I think if this can be improved this would be a good 10/10 hostel. We had a great time but just lacked the standard of food we have had around Colombia already.

Food is amazing and for a reasonable price. The facility is good and the relaxation concept is confirmed with the vibes at the place. I would have just wanted to have coffee at early morning, since it adds up to the experience in the mountain and the birds sing.

Great location within Minca, friendly and helpful staff. Food is limited and the portion sizes are small. No amenities or local stores nearby so be careful for long term stays here. If you want serenity, this is the place to go

Very cool view and pool. Not very friendly staff and service. Getting there is pretty hard as it's not close to a town or city but we weren't contacted by the hostel to receive instructions on how to get there. Not even an email! The restaurant and bar options are VERY limited, you can't even get a coca cola. They have some very weird food schedules, I asked to have an empanada at 4:01 and they said they only serve them until 4:00 so I had to get a whole pizza instead which seems to be the only food option of you're not within schedule. It definitely feels like they'll try to get your money any time they have a chance. Beds have mosquito nets but mine had a bunch of holes.

AMAZING!!! This place is beautifully located. The grounds and the staff are just wonderful. Since it is partly a hostel, you have to take that into account. It can be a bit loud at times, but the location and the views will make you forget all else other than the beauty of nature. THE FOOD!!!! I don’t even know where to start. Keep in mind you’re at least 1:30 hrs away from the nearest eating spot, so you think, they got you trapped, they can just serve you anything and you’ll just have to deal! Well, be prepared for gourmet tasting dishes. We spent 3 night at Casas Viejas and had breakfast and dinner on all nights. I cannot say enough about how tasty everything was. The only draw back for us was the crowd and the noise that comes along with it, but even then, we would absolutely come back in the future. If you enjoy nature and all that comes with it, but also enjoy a bit of modern comfort, this is the place for you! Helpful hints : bug spray, bug spray!!!! Minca Legs is a real thing
