We had the most wonderful stay, nothing was too much trouble for the fabulous & extremely kind staff, we ate some of the best food we’ve ever had, slept in a beautiful room with a super comfortable bed, great shower & air conditioning. We walked in the vineyard and relaxed by the pool and on the many terraces enjoying the spectacular views. We had a couple of travel issues when the trains let us down, all sorted out and fixed by Miguel, a possible stressful situation made completely stress free, I could go on & on about how amazing this place is, book, you certainly won’t regret it, just bare in mind that a short stay is never going to be enough

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful. The location is very central and ideal for exploring. Meals were absolutely phenomenal in a beautiful setting. We did a very informative wine tasting with Miguel. The wine maker was on site and very helpful in helping us plan our day. Although it was too cool for us to use when we were there, the pool area looked very nice as well.

We had a fantastic time here. Great room - clean, tidy, and perfect for the 4 of us. The accommodation must be very new as it was immaculate. It’s close to Pesa De Régua. Nice to walk around the ground. Really good food. Service was great too. Nice relaxed environment. Would recommend.

The hotel is an outstanding experience in a wine producing Quinta. Staff was outstanding, very personal service. We had three bedrooms in a dedicated section of the hotel, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The breakfast was amazing. It seemed the pool was private to us, and excellent personalized poolside service, right at the side of a vineyard. The property is immaculate and very stylish. We will be back.

Exceptional personalized service from Miguel and family made this an unforgettable stay in the Douro Valley. Do not miss the evening dining experience with delicious cuisine supplemented with fresh on-site ingredients. Located in a peaceful vineyard setting with a swimming pool and very friendly staff. We would definitely come again.

We loved our stay in Casal dos Capelinhos the setting it’s so intimate that you feel like a special guest in a friend’s vineyard. The food was great and the dinner is an absolute must. Beautiful house and rooms with lovely views to the vineyards. All the staff was super friendly. We also enjoyed the wine tasting very much. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

Every detail was perfect, from the setting, to the service, the food, and of course the wine! We enjoyed an afternoon at the pool and touring the grounds. Our dinner was elegant and delicious, using ingredients grown on the estate. Our stay was a magical experience, and we hope to visit again the future.

Elegant destination with comfortable beds & pressed embroidered sheets! The owners eye for detail is evident everywhere. The white Porto tonic welcome drink was special & the meals were plentiful & delicious. The walk through the vineyard was incredible The view from our balcony confirmed we were in God’s country. Shout out to Mónica & Miguel for stellar service. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi did not perform well for us.

Had a dream stay at Casal dos Capelinhos! The location is unbeatable - very close to Regua with a view out of this world. ooms are specious, modern and quiet. Communication was excellent from reservation until check out; We had a lovely wine tasting with Miguel, Monica continued to check in on us and make sure we have everything, we got welcome drinks and so on. I have to commend the dinner service which was incredible in terms of quality, value, portions, service and the entire experience. Breakfast was by far the best we had on our trip, so rich and tasty, with gluten-free options all throughout for our celiac family members. Highly recommend staying here for your Douro trip :)
