Very nice "hotel" with a cozy and friendly vibe I've written "hotel" like this because there are 5 beach cabanas and one beach villa

Had the most amazing, relaxing stay, staff were great, accommodation was beautiful, everything you needed for a chilled out few days, sad to be leaving, and also fell in love with the kitten with a patch marking over one eye, will sit all day for cuddles if you let her, and of course a few scraps, will be sorry to leave her behind but hopefully she will keep meeting kind people to look out for her even for just a few days. The resort’s beachfront location is breathtaking. Our cabana is perfect though the shower isn’t that good, but hey it works! 😄 The interior of the room is quite unique and the view from our patio is breathtaking — you can see the ocean 🌊🌴 The beachfront restaurant is a highlight — they serves the best iced tea in Cebu 😀. The staff are welcoming and are always greeting us with a smile. I will definitely recommend ABC to my family and friends when they visit Bantayan. 🫶🏼

After we stayed for 5 nights at Kota beach we decided to stay 2 more nights here in Bantayan Island to make our vacation super worth it and lengthy. Me and my sister chose the Amihan Cabanas Resort since it's marked as number 1 in tripadvisor among other resorts here. The first night was very good.. the cabana was comfy (aside from the mosquitoes part) and the place was aesthetically pleasing as well. We are the type of travelers that no longer party that much so we just stayed in the resort the whole time. Food was scrumptious and they have big servings. Now why would I give it only 1star? It's because of the service team. The 2nd night that we had dinner, there was a fly that landed into my cocktail. I asked the waiter or the bartender named Gil (a guest gave him a review here that's why I knew his name) to just replace my drink or if he couldn't do it, just remove it from the bill. He said that his supervisor would not allow the drink to be removed from the item because it's already been on the table. And he even told us that it's our responsibility to chase away the flies. Like what? Are you okay? You are showing us this attitude and we are paying customers. Do something about the pesky flies first before telling us it's our responsibility. We even politely asked you to remove the drink. It's okay for us to pay for the drink but his response and the attitude for handling the complaint is what irked me. It doesn't matter how spectacular the place is if the staffs are rude. It will just ruin the great experience you are having. 👎🏻
