Casa Prana è il posto più bello che si possa immaginare sul lago Atitlan. .Le abitazioni sono meravigliose, immerse in una natura verde e rigogliosa, fatta di splendidi fiori di tutti i colori e di uccelli il cui allieta ogni momento della giornata. È un paradiso da cui non vorresti più andartene. Vorrei spendere ancora una parola sulla fantastica équipe capitanata da Juan Carlos, che è sempre disponibile per accontentare ogni singolo desiderio o capriccio. Non perdetevi l’occasione unica di soggiornare a Casa Prana

Casa Prana is such a beautiful place! We stayed in the luxury suite sweet and it was stunning! The staff was lovely - they arranged our hike with a guide, set up a birthday dinner with roses, and even baked a cake. We hope we can visit again sooon!

It's a quite long stretch from Scandinavia to Lake Atitlan, and this was my second trip to Casa Prana. The good vibes and beautiful surroundings strikes you immediately at arrival with the feeling of entering paradise. The warm welcome from the staff and luxurious amenities gives you a very pleasant start of the stay. During the stay you just know that everything will be taken good care of by the management and their service-minded staff. Every detail is planned and any request is promptly responded to and resolved. If you want to to have a pleasant getaway; this is a no-brainer! Have I mentioned all the possibilities in the Atitlan area? Order a boat and get around :-) try it out!

This resort must be experienced because it is difficult to describe with words. Situaded at Lake Atitlan surrounded by vulcanos and beautiful nature. Casa Prana was unique with it`s architecture, delicate luxury, tropical gardens, flowers, trees, sculptures and local art. Easy to find your own private spot, deliscious home made food, super comfortable beds, excellent service, fresh air, swimming pool, yoga and gym. We felt like kings and queens and will come back for sure. Highly recommended!

I have recently just returned from a stay at Casa Prana…and just WOW..! Words really cannot express the location, the hotel, the suites, the amenities, the service, and the cuisine (and this list really could go on and on…). It really is so, so much more…time quite literally stands still from the moment you arrive. Casa Prana is a rather special place, that just ingrains feelings and experiences within you that cannot be found elsewhere. Thank you so, so much to all that made my stay so special.

The magic of this place cannot be compared to anything ! The beauty doesn’t truly show from the pictures . If possible it’s even more wonderful in real life - the atmosphere, the garden that reminds me of the true meaning of the word “paradise”, the incredible positive people working there , the delicious food and the beautiful rooms . I’ve had the pleasure to explore several of the rooms and they’re all fantastic . I also have to mention the beds ; they’re so comfy I was sad leaving them at my departure . Lake Atitlan is already a very special place , and I exploring the lake with a base at casa prana made my experience even more dreamy . For whom ever is worried spending time at lake Atitlan will be to isolated there is noting to worry about . Casa prana assisted me in organizing many amazing day trips . They weee also great modifying the food after my allergies and restrictions . Thank you for having me.

The short story: New management cancelled our reservation. They provided a curt and vague explanation on why. They then ignored our many follow up messages seeking clarity on whether we could rebook, during which time the other comparable places all became booked up, really creating a headache for us. Just stay away from them. The full story: We were planning a trip for 11 people to Guatemala with a stay at Casa Prana as a key part of it. After many attempts to reach them, I spoke to someone at the hotel about how to book for a group. We then booked our rooms and received a confirm. After that, we booked other hotels, flights and activities around Guatemala. To repeat, they sent us confirms, one of which I attached. Then we got an email from Casa Prana cancelling all six rooms because I had used my credit card to reserve my adult son’s room, which is against their rules for reasons I don’t understand. I immediately went to rebook. The whole hotel was somehow instantly booked – see pictures of their website attached. Their first email response was vague and the second one rude. Neither explained if we would have a chance to re-book. They ignored our many follow up emails and what’s app messages in English and Spanish looking for more clarity. We were told by others in the Atitlan community that there was a change in ownership around the time we booked. New ownership believed they could get much higher prices and were looking to cancel as many reservations as they could. I’m sure they will have some dishonest response below. Look at all the reviews and posts I have on this site. I travel a lot and very rarely have anything bad to say. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Reserve at your own risk!

Beautiful facility. Really enjoyed the room, the food, the activities, and more. Juan Carlos (property manager) was really wonderful. The sole concern was that they have live tropical birds locked in cramped cages throughout the property as decorations. Other guests raised their concern about this to us, and we agreed: we went there to enjoy nature and wildlife, not to see wildlife locked up looking quite sad and wishing they were free in the forests. It took away from the peaceful feel. Hope they free the birds, and otherwise a great experience. Thanks!

I have traveled the world and this was one of the most beautiful and peaceful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. I stayed in the Luxury Suite and absolutely loved it. It was beyond spacious, beautifully designed, comfortable and relaxing. The terrace was cozy and charming. I chose to eat my breakfast out there each morning. The food was excellent and I found the kitchen to be very accommodating with dietary restrictions. I really enjoyed the fact that I could request to enjoy a meal anywhere on the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that they all addressed me by my name. The grounds of the hotel are nothing short of stunning! So many places to relax, sunbathe, nap, read a book, enjoy a meal, etc. I would revisit Casa Prana in a heartbeat!
