We booked via email, directly with the hotel, a 3 days stay at a very reasonable price for the time of the year and I must say we got more than expected! A large room with comfortable beds, toilet with a bidet (I'm Italian and my wife Japanese so we really miss our bidet when abroad!) ,wifi worked well (for the joy of our teenage son) and food was really nice, with plenty of choice from the half board menu. The night we arrived all the street around the hotel were closed to the traffic because of a concert in the nearby main square and I somehow reached the hotel but couldn't find my way out; the owner, Giuseppe, was fantastic helping me find my way to the car park, showing empathy and concern. Despite being a little late for dinner the staff was really warm and understanding. It's a family owned business and for those 3 days, with simplicity and no frills, we felt part of the family. The staff doesn't speak English and I would say that was the bonus, because making the effort to communicate with some simple words we knew in Spanish and the few words of English Claudia, the niece of the owner, knew, made the experience more genuine and fulfilling. By the way, the hotel has hired a person that speaks English very well because the emails I received were very well written in English and when I called a lady spoke to me fluently on the phone. I really recommend this hotel to those who travel with their heart open and want to live a true Catalan experience, so rare in our aseptic globalized world.

The parking was not free, even though stated as such on ********** (costed 10 €). Check-in was somewhat confusing as the girl, though being kind, did not say much unless I asked, but I later met a man who was very friendly and gave additional information. Wifi did not reach our room, so the children had to sit in the corridor. Room for 4 persons was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. The village and its surroundings were beautiful. We stayed one night as we were passing through Spain by car.

Friendly service, and nice price for a room with a big bathroom, and silent air conditioning. My family and me were super comfortable at this hotel. I also liked the fact that the rooms and overall hotel experience was super silent at night which made a great and restful sleep.

Staff were very friendly, very nice location. I thought the man who checked us in could have been more helpful re parking our motorcycle. He said no parking in the square, unless you pay, but there was a parking area 5 minutes walk away. Infact, there was free parking for motorcycles in designated areas in the square, about 50 yards away.

You will need your sat-nav to find this place, even then you could drive past and not know. It’s just off a typical Spanish square that comes alive at night,tables and available outside the hotel which has a bar and restaurant,didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that. The room we stayed in was a family room with a double and two singles with enough space to not feel cramped. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the room is also air conditioned for which there is no extra charge. The car park is a five minute walk away and is padlocked.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were helpful but did not speak good English which proved difficult at times. Overall a very nice stay.

Parking is 300 m from hotel, hotel has good food options and serves until 11pm. Good value for a short stay
