Hen party of 19. Ok place to stay. Pool and pool area nice as were the rooms. Strange way of checking all 19 in before they would give a room key to anyone. Bossy barman, who told me off because he thought one of our party were drinking their own drink by the pool. Was told under no circumstances were supermarket carrier bags allowed around the pool. On our second night a couple of the ladies got back to their room to find an unknown drunken girl in their room – apparently the security man had given her access after she said she’d forgotten/lost her key. What an absolute lack of security. He’d never even asked her details before letting her into the room! The next night I got back to my room only to find the door actually open. We’d left at 10am to go on a boat trip and it was 9:45pm when I got back – I think the cleaners had left it ajar after they cleaned at around 10am as I saw them outside our room just before we left. Luckily no-one had gained access but it was a little scary going in checking around that no-one had. When I mentioned it to reception the next morning he said I would have to see the manager! The other room of ladies were offered a free breakfast for their episode. Would I stay there again – very likely not.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel, the service is fantastic, staff are so nice and friendly. Pool area is beautiful, chilled and spotless, nice menu and delicious cocktails, comfortable beds, a DJ plays in the afternoon, great music. Love the concept of this hotel. Our room was lovely; really comfy beds, nice and spacious, only annoying thing was the lack of bins (only 1 tiny one in the bathroom) and no hand soap was provided. View from the balcony wasn’t great, but it didn’t bother us as the rest of the hotel was so pretty. You can also visit the sister hotels and use their pools, we took advantage of this and went to their brand new hotel the mongibello which is also beautiful. I would stay here again, great value for the money we paid. Thanks Grand Paradiso :)
