"A long-awaited hot spring pilgrimage! I arrived at Arashikoso in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. My wish to soak in a hot spring amidst snow-capped mountains was fulfilled. The tea brewed with hot spring water had a sweet flavor infused with the umami of kelp. A feast of mountain vegetables! The variety of mountain vegetable hot pot was incredible! Paired with Matsusaka beef and local sake, it was simply delicious! I never knew there were so many kinds of mountain vegetables! 😳 Winter romance is probably best experienced in a snow-covered mountain hot spring. ❄️ The warm, soothing hot spring water cleansed my body and soul. Washing away all the misfortunes of 2025, 2026 will be a fresh start. I'm especially grateful for the landlady's thoughtful care and warm conversation. I eagerly await my return in spring. *Finally, I wrote a letter to myself twelve years from now; the hotel will mail it in 2038."
