Hotel de la Loire

A beautiful family run hotel in a stunning location. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was delightful. We stayed in the Regency room which was on the ground floor and overlooked the restaurant just across the road. I was a little disappointed that there was no view of the river as I had booked a 'superior' double, but the four poster bed and tea making facilities made up for it! The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable with more pillows in the wardrobe if needed, Good air conditioning and no noise from the road if you keep the windows closed. Parking is a little problematic if you arrive in the middle of the day when the restaurants across the road are serving lunch. We had to walk quite a way with our luggage. The staff are always on hand first thing in the morning, whilst breakfast is being served, and then again for a couple of hours in the afternoon when they are checking in new guests which means there are a lot of hours when the front door is locked (but you do have a key). There is no outside seating at all but we found lots of nice benches alongside the river when we needed some evening air. The main downside of this hotel: we would have liked a fridge in the room and there was very little choice at breakfast.

We had a stopover here and it’s only 10 minutes or so from the motorway, so very convenient. There was a very warm welcome and all the staff are all really friendly. The decor is a bit old fashioned but the rooms are a good size and clean and quiet. it was lovely to be right next to the Loire.

Voilà une adresse à retenir. L'accueil est exceptionnel, la responsable de l'hôtel est aux petits soins pour ses clients. Agréable et disponible, elle met tout en oeuvre pour rendre votre séjour le plus charmant possible. Elle a répondu à chacune de nos demandes et parfois même les a anticipées. Un grand professionnalisme que l'on ne rencontre malheureusement que très rarement. Les chambre sont propres et dotées de lits king size, mais surtout de clim que nous avons particulièrement appréciée. Le petit déjeuner est de bonne qualité et offre un large choix. Le personnel est, lui aussi, d'une grande gentillesse et très attentionné. Nous ne pouvons que louer la qualité des services de cet établissemnent. Félicitations à toute l'équipe.

Belle étape dans cet hôtel. Abri pour les vélos, 3 restau à 2mn à pieds, personnel très bien, très calme. Le ptit dej est bien achalandé. La chambre est très correct. Pas de sèche serviette (remarque pour les cyclistes)

Hôtel charmant et confortable. Excellente situation en bord de Loire. À toute proximité de Sancerre. Et surtout une équipe formidable, très professionnelle, à l’écoute de ses clients. Merci à Christelle et Matteo. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Un accueil excellent et très arrangeant. Très belle vue, chambre spacieuse, très confortable et très grande salle de bain. Un très bon petit déjeuner pour agrémenter le tout. Nous avons pu profiter du feu d artifice de notre chambre . Bref un sans faute ! Un vrai rapport prix plaisir. Nous recommandons à 100%
