Far Out Inn

The ‘garden’ view is more of a street view with street lamps lightening up the entire room. The partial sheets of cotton that appear to function as curtains let all the light in. Eye blinds are required to create a sense of night. See attached photos. The street view provided a lot of noise from traffic from one side and the kitchen from the other during day and evening - either dishwasher or washing machine. Ear plugs are required to create peace. We had to eat breakfast in the bed or in other people’s rooms’ terraces. This was not clear from the offering. Orange juice was disappointing. The portion size was relatively small. Coffee is tasteless. Location is good. Yoga fine.

What an amazing place!…the friendliest people and a magical spot overlooking the sea and beautiful San Sebastián. You’d struggle to find a better view than we had from our balcony. We took part in the complimentary yoga and it was an excellent and relaxing start to our day. Breakfast delivered to your room was also an added bonus. The location fantastic, 5 minute walk down 240 steps to the main beach and town…coming back up at the end of the day worked off the pintxos!

The setting of the hotel was stunningly beautiful. My room had garden views out one window and skyline and beach views from another window. The hotel is perched above the "Playa de la Concha" and is about a 20-minute walk to the old part of town. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel for me were the free yoga and meditation sessions offered in the mornings and evenings. These were conducted in a spacious, sunlit room with an amazing view of the bay. Yoga mats were available from the hotel. Martina, the yoga and meditation instructor, conducted the sessions in a very relaxing and easy way for people at all levels. The breakfasts were delicious and brought to my room each morning. There is a coffee machine and tea maker in the room, but if you ask, staff will bring a freshly made coffee with your breakfast. There is a wide multi-level stone stairway close to the hotel by which to reach the main drag along the beach directly, and visitors should know that it takes some effort to climb on your way back up to the hotel. I loved my stay at the Far Out Inn and hope to return again soon!

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful place, beautiful room with balcony and sea view, amazing healthy breakfast and an experience with our yoga expert Riviera that can’t be beaten. So good for the heart and soul. Set overlooking San Sebastián the views are incredible, you have the sound of the waves each evening to send you off to sleep. All of the staff are so helpful and welcoming, so relaxing an amazing stay.

What an amazing find. Beautiful old house. Stunning views. Really welcoming staff. The yoga classes were such a brilliant bonus. Really enjoyed our stay. Delicious breakfast served in our room. Location just up from the main beach was so handy. Close enough to walk to the old town.

Super fun stay We really loved this place. It was in a really cool building, just up a big stairway from the beach. The people were really nice.
