What a fantastic destination! Perfect combination of million dollar views and a beautiful refuge for our family. The chalet was designed with careful attention to detail and our family of 3 had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the privacy of the setting and the luxury of the accommodations. The owner was incredibly gracious and kind to us, and went over and above to make sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi, the magnificent setting, and the freshly made breakfast delivered to our door. The nearby restaurant with the same owner, Mae Culpa, was amazing. We watched a beautiful sunset over the mountains and ocean and tried three of their delicious meals. We agreed as a family that their wood fired pizza was the absolute best pizza we had ever had. I highly recommend this property; it truly is paradise. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Nested in the middle of the cloudforest, the HelveTico chalets and reserve is a jewel of the tropics. We had the chance to stay 1 night in a gorgeus chalet that had a mix of déco modern and minimalistic, yet cozy and warm. We had dinner at their restaurant where we got some quality service and world-class pizza, their sangría is highly recommended. From the chalet, the view of the mountains and the pacific shore were amazing and the walk through the reserve left us breathless. We later had the chance to enjoy a hot water spa located in front of the chalet, hiding under some tree branches, a magical moment of peace. This is by far one of the most interesting corners of Costa Rica. If you're looking to take back home these exceptional moments of peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. Truly, a hidden gem for those who love getting off the beaten path.
