The Phoenix Resort

This is the 4th year in a row for me at the Phoenix and I love it there. The staff is just outstanding, from the front desk, to the pool bar service, room service, and everyone else. The location is also perfect for diving, exploring the island, shops, restaurants, as well as getting out of the island for other adventures. The resort has all the amenities, with AC, faucet with drinking water, as well as three pools for all ages. Must visit!

The Phoenix resort was very beautiful and homey. We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff made us feel like we were with family. I huge shout out to the staff who returned my forgotten wedding ring to me just before our flight home. They discovered the ring entirely on their own when cleaning our room and dropped it off to us just before we went through security.

We stayed in a 2B/2B for a couples trip and it was beyond expectations! The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The cleaning staff did a fabulous job each day! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure guests felt pampered. I loved that they used WhatsApp to communicate and help book all our excursions! The area was very safe and close to all the action! It’s an easy way to travel and get around with the accommodations and friendly staff! We fully plan on coming back!

My husband and I love this place. Upon arrival, we are greeted with a welcome drink. Our two bedroom suite has all the amenities. They also have treats there for us to enjoy during our stay. Spoiling us even more.....chocolates are left at turn down service. We feel right at home here. The staff is amazing. After unpacking, I realized I left my phone in the Belize City Airport and tracked the exact location via Google. I was in a panic. We went back to the front desk and Tatiana and the front desk staff contacted Tropic Air in Belize City. They found it underneath a bench and were able to retrieve it within hours. I cannot say enough good things about the The Phoenix.

Exceptional staff, service, food, and accommodations. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the third floor. It was large, clean, well maintained and was stocked with all the needed amenities, including laundry detergent for the in-unit washer/dryer. Happy hour every night was great! Food was great!

I booked the Phoenix Resort based on TripAdvisors recommendation and it was even better than what I expected. The resort was amazing. The Phoenix Team: Marisol, Candice, Pamela, Danny, Marisol, Jorge and Tanya were beyond helpful and accommodating. From scheduling air transportation from Belize city to ambergris Caye to scheduling dinner reservations to golf cart rental to massages. They handled any and all requests with utmost professionalism and friendliness. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a hotel/resort team. Thank you Phoenix Resort team. In addition, the food and the staff at Red Ginger (the in resort restaurant) was exceptional as well. Thank Tony, Josh Christine. There were others as well so thank you. I had a great and will definitely return.

The Phoenix is a beautiful resort convenient to so many activities including shopping, restaurants and water activities. The staff is the resort's greatest asset. We were blown away by how friendly and helpful everyone we encountered was. No request was too small nor too difficult. As soon as you arrive at the pool, you are greeted with a smile and a towel for your chair and another for you. Order a drink and they bring it to you even if you are in the pool. The same at the restaurant and at the bar upstairs. Staff would greet us with a friendly hello and engage with us, often teaching us a bit about their beautiful island. Suites are spacious, comfortable and very clean. I looked forward to the nightly chocolate left by the turndown staff. Thank you for making this such a memorable vacation! Donna & Randy

We were staying in Caye Caulker and decided to spend a couple of days in San Pedro. We found this place last minute and how very blessed we were. We arrived and there was no one from the resort waiting so we walked. It is on a busy part of town close to golf cart rentals, restaurants, etc. We arrived and immediately felt relaxed. The property was clean and well maintained. The front desk saw up trying to find the entrance and came to greet up. We were provided with a warm welcome, drinks, and a cold towel. Check in was a breeze. We were then shown to our room and it was genuinely a breath of fresh air. It was well decorated spacious and had nice touches: a hand written welcome note, some drinks to make a cocktail, lemon bars, fresh flower petals on the bed and in the bath. The place was spacious with all the amenities of home. The decor, the view, and the cleanliness-happy dance. There was a full size fridge, a washer dryer, shower and jetted tub. The staff was responsive. The restaurant on the property had a delicious breakfast. Also a few weeks after we returned home, we received a nice handwritten note from the property thanking us for our stay. All I can say is give The Phoenix a chance. You will not be disappointed.
