Hotel in zona Laguna Chaxa, San Pedro De Atacama

An oasis in the desert. Forget the hustle and bustle of Caracoles street when you enter the spacious plaza of Don Raul. The place is well staffed, the room clean and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. A shout out to Patricio who was more than accomodating. The pool is brisk and refreshing after a day of sight seeing. Next time we go to Atacama, we are staying here.

Non esce ogni giorno e può rimanere un giorno.Ci sono auto al centro della città ogni mezz'ora. Quando guardo il panorama notturno nel cortile, guardare le stelle è davvero infinito. Le stelle del cielo sono super belle. Non ho mai visto così belle stelle in decine di paesi.Questo viaggio in Sud America è il più caratteristico hotel, molto consigliato!

Ho avuto un bel soggiorno presso il Nostro Habitas Atacama. Questo è un luogo assolutamente bello, con una vibrazione che spruzza la famiglia e la comunità nel modo migliore possibile. Il personale era così incredibilmente amichevole e utile, in modo che mi faceva sentire come se fossero miei amici e non facessero i loro ”compiti di personale”. ”Ho avuto un soggiorno così meraviglioso... Ho prenotato un lavoro di allineamento chakra/massaggio/energia con Valesca e mi sono sentito TRANSFORMATO in seguito. Era uno dei migliori massaggi della mia vita. Era assolutamente incredibile. Arrivai presto (ben prima dell’iscrizione) e Carolina, una delle persone del servizio frontale, era così dolce, faceva tutto il possibile per portarmi in una stanza il più presto possibile, che era una bella stanza con una terrazza sul tetto per la notte. Non volevo mai lasciare la proprietà, in realtà, anche se ci sono tante cose meravigliose da fare in Atacama! Tutti i dipendenti erano super attenti e amichevoli altri punti di vista inclusi Oscar, uno dei più affascinanti e conosciuti personale che ho incontrato in qualsiasi hotel, ovunque; Cristobal, il manager della comunità che ha programmato la mia visita e ora mi sento come uno di Mii amici, Camila che ha condiviso un super segreto punto di vista della stella sulla proprietà; Sebastian, Kenny voi due siete meravigliosi, anche! Ho letto da altri ospiti che pensavano che le camere fossero inconfortabili e calde. Sono andato durante il calore record e quando ho chiesto un fan, era nella mia stanza entro 15 minuti, e era tranquillo! Inoltre, ho trovato i letti incredibilmente confortevoli e le camere piacevoli, ma soprattutto, quello che vorrei tornare a questa idea che a Habitas, si sente davvero curato e un senso di amicizia e famiglia. Certamente ripresero'.

We came to the hotel for a quick lunch while we we were waiting for a transfer onto Calama for a flight but wish we could have stayed. Sylvia at reception was extremely welcoming and kindly took our bags to look after and showed us to the restaurant overlooking the beautiful pool area which was really relaxing. The transfer arrived slightly early so they wrapped the food up for us to take and we enjoyed at the airport. Highly recommend the pulled pork wrap! Everything was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed and it made you want to pull out a book and just relax. I would definitely stay a few days after a trip to the salt flats next time!

The front desk staff are friendly but don’t fully explain the basis of ones stay. We were HB and you either have a choice of their 3 course fixed menu or you can take the wider menu and have a credit against your meal cost, the latter a far better option. We only realised when we took lunch on our third day and were handed the menu we had had for the last two evenings. Housekeeping is excellent, room was always remade well and turned down at night. However this is not a 5* hotel and given we paid effectively $600 per night genuinely overpriced. I would not stay here again but that is both because the value offer is sub par for what it is and there are plenty of other hotels in the area and also because they genuinely do not understand customer service. Also the pool area is tiny with very few beds around it so for the few hours you may have when not on tours you really don’t have anywhere to relax aside from your room. There is a nice outdoor dining seating area but only one table has shade at lunch. They do offer breakfast bags if your tour starts before they do which was good and they also have bikes you can use if you want to explore on wheels. Walkable to the main area of town in 5-10 minutes, location good. Be careful as you cannot pay by US$ debit card (Revolut, Monzo cards not accepted), the T&Cs at the time of booking sent by the hotel stated that ‘at the time of check in a credit card will be requested as a guarantee or another method of payment’ this is not an issue and is standard and I gave a credit card. Also their T&Cs stated ‘the national sales tax (19%) may be charged at check out to citizens of Chile regardless of the length of stay and to foreigners staying in the country for 60 consecutive days or more. To qualify for tax exemption, foreigners must pay for their stay in foreign currency (not in Chilean pesos (CLP) and present a valid passport along with the migration card that they received upon arrival int eh country at check in’. So where does this state that you cannot on check out use a debit card in US$ which is accepted universally across all of Chile, it does not state this anywhere. When checking out and presented with my hotel bill I was asked to pay in US$ ($2436.43) for our 4 night stay. I handed over my debit card and the front desk lady tried to take payment but said that a debit card in US$ would not work! She then told me that I could pay in Chilean pesos. So I converted the US$ to Chilean Pesos in front of her on my debit card (incurring fx charges) and then once I represented the card she then told me that I would now have to add 19%, where in their T&Cs is that stated!! So having been told that the T&Cs were actually incorrect and now having incurred over $50 of foreign exchange charges for no reason, I then paid using a credit card which has its’ standard fx charges. Yet NOI hotel T&Cs are not accurate. I raised a complaint via an email and it took over a week for the hotel to come back and not acce

La posizione dell'hotel nel centro della città è molto conveniente, la zona della piscina è anche abbastanza bello da sedersi, anche se vorrei che avesse più posti a sedere con cuscini fuori. Le camere sono buie e non molto bello. La posizione del bagno nella mia stanza era vicino alla doccia, così che era molto difficile salire e salire. Almeno una delle pareti della mia stanza era così sottile che potevo sentire tutto quello che facevano i miei vicini, compresi gli interruttori di luce, non c'è WiFi nelle stanze e si deve usare Internet in aree pubbliche. Quando molte persone sono online, Internet non funziona affatto, il che è stato piuttosto frustrante all'arrivo perché non sono riuscito a comunicare con l'agenzia di viaggi e a scoprire quando iniziava il mio tour. Il pranzo era decente, anche se non sembravano pianificare bene la giornata mattinale e tutti i rotoli di pane e le uova sarebbero scaduti entro 5 minuti. La persona al check-in era molto inflexibile circa il check-in e non permetterebbe nemmeno alle persone di accedere alle camere mezzo ora prima. Sì, il tempo di check-in indicato è alle 3:00, ma sembrava un po' estrema far sedere le persone nel lobby e aspettare fino alle 3:00 sul punto quando le camere erano chiaramente pronte.
