Secrets Baby Beach Aruba

It was not a very good experience overall. The food was mediocre, the customer service was horrible when it came to customer who were not preferred members and who weren’t white. I stayed at the Secrets St. Lucia before staying at this Secrets and they really need to model after them because I gave the St. Lucia Secrets a 5 star rating. The resort is very esthetically pleasing, but the food and 75% of the staff were horrible. In addition, as beautiful as baby beach is, it’s a public beach and Secrets only gave us the basic of beach chairs. Also it’s not on the property. You would have to go off the property and walk across the street to the beach.

Our best experience at Secrets Baby Beach. It has been a very relaxing trip. 1. Preferred club service have great butlers like Luis D, who did an exceptional work and helped us at all times by communicating via What's app. Eventhough he was not assigned to us, since he is the one that greeted us when we walked in. A very kind and polite natured person. He is a deserving candidate and should be promoted from Butler to a better position. From my experience, he could Manage well. So he can be promoted to be a Manager. That skill is within him. When our Butler was on day off, I contacted Luis and he was at our service at anytime. Also checked on us when we saw him in person walking to restaurants or anywhere in the resort. He was at our service at anytime during their shift hours. 2. Malik was our assigned butler. Checked on us at all times to see if everything is ok. I requested some dry fruits for my fasting thinking the resort will supply the request. Instead Malik sent his Dad to get the dry fruits due to my fasting for that day and filled my request. Someone to go that far to fulfill is beyond exception. A very kind gesture. He is a jolly and cool guy. Caring for his guests. Also I requested for the return trip take out food for the flight which was filled by the resort itself. 3.There is entertainment in the evening around 8pm. David & Sebastian are the best dancers and they are doing their best to cheer the guests and engage them, if they see anyone enjoying the music, also teach them the steps live so the guest also can enjoy. They do an excellent job, sometimes in this heat, they really work so hard for the guests to keep them busy throught the day by zoomba dance and bingo games on the pool, corn throw by the pool and some other challenging games Guests vs Team Entertainment (Employees of the resort). Thanks to wonderful Entertainment team to keep us occupied in the evening time. 4. Thanks to Malik in the electric department, who came to check on our fan upon the request sent to Luis & Malik, which was taken care of immediately. What a jolly guy, he is so young and working so hard in this heat. 5. I would like to cheer for all the Bar staff, Bell Staff and the housekeeping team. Exceptional job. Mini bar needs some area of improvement. Like filling up candies and placing chips containers etc.. They should check twice a day to see if the supplies are less. First few days everything was refilled. After that they stopped filling some of the items. 6. One big request to the resort team is in this heat wave, if they can accomadate their employees to wear half sleeves and offer some discounted food for them would be great. Butlers have to wear full sleeves with closed neck which is really not acceptable. This makes them suffocate and this can cause health conditions. Hopefully they can focus on this one. Otherwise resort is good, they also need to come up with some good restaraunts for vegeterians (No sea food, animals). very minimu

This was the perfect romantic and relaxing spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary! From the swimouts, infinity pools, preferred bars to the most beautiful and amazing beach it was paradise. Even on the most crowded beach day it still felt like you had personal space. There are kids at Baby Beach which is hard when you have been in adults only mode at the resort but most maintained personal space.

All great vacations start with a smooth check in but not here at Secrets Baby Beach. An immediate point of failure!! Thirty minutes of waiting, confusion and disorganization. We were ignored first 15 min and trust me not the attire as we were overdressed obviously and had two groups strutting around us at check in. As UVC members found a uniformed rep lounging on the couch and he took us to the preferred lounge and nice for about 3 minutes when rep checking us in told us loudly so sorry you are a member but not in preferred status, so escorted us back out in line again. Finally, another UVC rep acted to expedite and more confusion followed but checked in. We had a single request since the last 5 times at Secrets resorts we could not get the hibachi experience as first come first serve deal. So asked for 630pm seating second night and they wrote it down certainly. For next 24 hrs asked 2 more time are we good and yes for response. Late Day 2 our concierge got back to us on WhatsApp and we requested again. But when we were all excited and arrive for dinner, we were told missed seating at 6pm because there is no 630pm seating. It just show staff is lost in the sauce and not attentive to resort operations. The restaurant manager did get us squeezed in at next seating time. Meantime we got the resort GM name and tried to pay a visit at the preferred club where we understood he often resided, but once again the on call manager ran us off as we are told we only have a concierge assigned and not a butler…say what, missed the mark here. For pool time, servers don’t assist unless confronted and guest have to put up own umbrellas and get own towels from stationary attendant, understand if at some community pool but this is supposed to be an all inclusive resort. GM never tried to reach out either. Serious staff training required and recommend team from one of sister Mexico resorts come show this resort staff what service means. This resort is on far side of island and difficult to reach many activities so even more of a reason to get it right. Some good news, for all imported food, chefs and servers excellent so keep it up. Room service near flawless so bravo!! Secret Baby Beach better move quickly to get it right or it will go empty like the large oil refinery next door.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Stay at Secrets Baby Beach From the moment we arrived, we knew this resort was something special—but it was the staff that truly made our stay unforgettable. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond, but a few stood out in particular. Jojo in UVC Member Services was absolutely phenomenal. Her hospitality, kindness, and professionalism are unmatched. She made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed—so much so that we joked she should be running the entire UVC team worldwide. She’s a stellar human being and one of the highlights of our trip. I miss her so much already! Julianne, the bartender in the Preferred Club, was another star. Sweet, friendly, and always a joy to talk with each evening, she made us feel like family. Spending time with her became a part of our daily routine that we looked forward to. Now onto the food—wow. This was my 7th Secrets resort stay, and I can honestly say the dining experience here is among the best. The breakfast buffet was a standout. The fruit was the freshest we’ve had at any resort, the bacon was cooked to perfection every single morning—crispy, but still chewy in the best way—and the omelets were consistently spot on, never overcooked or burned the way I’ve seen at other resorts. It really set the tone for each day. While wait times at some of the restaurants were a little longer than we’re used to, this is a brand-new property, and we fully expect these small kinks to smooth out soon. The staff deserves grace as they work hard to perfect the experience, and in return, you’ll find the most genuine, caring team that truly wants you to have the best possible stay. As for restaurants, Tierra was hands down our favorite—absolutely bursting with flavor. We actually went there twice! Himitsu sushi was also excellent, and the service there was impressively quick. On the other hand, Portofino and Oceana were our least favorite. They weren’t awful by any means, but the food wasn’t as tasty compared to other venues, and the wait times for meals there were quite long. Still, we came in knowing this is a new resort, and we appreciated the effort being put in as things continue to improve. The resort itself is beautiful—the pools are large and refreshing . The large Preferred Pool with the stage and daybeds is gorgeous, and we couldn’t help but think it would be the perfect spot for some afternoon entertainment. A little music or a daytime show there would make the atmosphere even more lively. Finally, I have to address one common comment we heard—the walk to the beach. Let me be clear: it’s NOT long at all. It’s maybe 90 seconds from the resort to the sand. If that’s too far, perhaps a little more activity in your routine would help 🤓. Stop complaining. You ARE in paradise. My husband and I recently (Aug '25) stayed at Secrets baby beach for 3 nights before moving to meet his larger family at a timeshare on the other side of Aruba. This was my 11th all inclusive resort stay, first in Aruba and first Secrets property overall, although I am aware of the brand (the DR and Mexico have been my points of comparison.) Secrets Baby Beach feels much more like a hotel built around a resort style pool with restaurants that are included in the price than an "all inclusive resort." Here are some areas I believe this property can improve: - The amenities provided in the room My expectations included a more well stocked mini bar in the room itself (snacks of both a sweet and savory variety, wine, a canned cocktail or liquor offering.) - Service overall: 4 out of 10. 1. There was no service by the infinity pool most of our 3 day stay. 0 out of 10. We were offered one drink by one server in at least 12 hours of sitting by the pool over 3+ days; we had to walk to the far away pool bar for each of our other drinks.) 2. Service at dinner each night (Tierra, Himitsu, Oceana) was FANTASTIC. 10 out of 10 for these guys. Each greeter and server we had was attentive, helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had an enjoyable evening. This is the only thing keeping my overall service from being a 1 or a 2. 3. Bell Service: Overall 7 of 10. you can tell they have resources and time working against them (more on this in check in process below.) The guys were all eager to please and did a good job working within their abilities to deliver our bags to our room and then help us get checked out on time. One red flag: we rented a car and they gave us a tag for it, then proceeded to park the car for us. Upon check out 4 days later, we were told they placed our key on the wrong ring and we had to identify which key was ours. Because we had just picked it up from the airport 30 mins before dropping it, we truly weren't sure. There were also 4 other identical keys (rental tags, car make, model, etc.) in their key box so it became a process to figure out which key went to which car, and then ensuring that car matched our rental documents before leaving. It would have been an ordeal had we left with the wrong car, which seemed VERY possible with this mixup. 4. Breakfast and Lunch buffet: 3 out of 10. Service was mostly abysmal, worse at breakfast but still not great at lunch. On the last morning we sat with empty coffee and water after the initial fill up for the entire meal, despite asking for refills more than once. My husband ordered a cocktail with a few meals here and they often didn't come until we were half done with a meal, and a second was never offered. It appears to be a mix of poor bussing/cleaning (more than 50% of the tables were dirty and hadn't been bussed or cleaned upon entering for each meal we had.) My understanding is the hotel is only 60% filled during it's first few "soft opening" months - this will be a
