Hotel in zona SOSNABAR, IGLESIA CATÓLICA, San Miguel de Allende

despite a couple of puzzling (and negative) experiences. the room was a modern retreat within a colonial atmosphere. we loved the room itself. the front and back courtyards filled with artwork pieces added a lot of character. the initial arrival experience wasn’t pleasant as we didn’t know there were 2 different locations as we arrived at the original address only to find that we needed to go to another address. and upon arrival at the 2nd hotel, the very first thing they wanted us to fill out was breakfast options. (they didn’t ask for ID cards or credit cards, but this breakfast form). what?!? it is only 2 pm. could that wait until we have settled into our room first? and plenty of time until breakfast the next morning. and guess what, our waffle breakfast the next morning was cold. so much for requiring us to fill out the form hours in advance. however, they did make corrections and our breakfast was great for the next 3 days. perfect location. great rooftop restaurant - kookaburra. and this hotel is within walking distance to nearly everywhere including great restaurants and coffee shops.

L'appartamento della camera è generalmente come un hotel veloce.Il rapporto prezzo/prezzo per il prezzo di SMA è ancora più alto.Se vai al centro, camminare 15-20 minuti a piedi non è niente.Come fai a girare in città turistica ovunque. La reception ha un microonde per riscaldare cibo e acqua. C'è un ristorante vicino al Messico con un ristorante di succhi di succhi. All'hotel a tre pomeriggio, c'è una stanza vuota per il servizio in anticipo. Il servizio è buono. Il cameriere non può comunicare in inglese e può comunicare con il software di traduzione

Molto bello, piccolo hotel (13 camere). Le camere erano ben progettate e molto pulite e spaziose. Il personale era molto bello e utile, nonostante le difficoltà linguistiche. Il parcheggio valet incluso è stato un enorme plus. Il bonus era il loro fantastico ristorante - aperto solo al colazione e al pranzo - il cibo era ragionevolmente prezioso e delizioso. Se preferisci un hotel tranquillo, questo posto non è per te. Strada occupata, ma grande posizione con molti negozi e ristoranti molto vicini.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. It has old-world charm, with the dark wood, the talavera tile and the boveda ceilings. It’s very reasonably priced, too, but you get what you pay for in a lot of ways here. Not a lot of room amenities— no mini fridge or microwave which, to be fair, is relatively rare in Mexico. But the stocked soaps and things were so cheap— like Dollar-Store cheap— they hardly lathered up. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the hours of the little convenience shop either which seemed never to be open, so no buying our own. I might have been able to overlook that stuff if the ladies at the front desk weren’t so rude. At one point during our stay, I thought I lost my key. When I went to ask for another, the two clerks literally rolled their eyes at one another before proceeding to take an inordinate amount of time contacting whomever they needed to contact to come program another key. They hardly addressed me and let me know pretty late in the process that I would have to pay for the replacement… in cash. I couldn’t just add the charge to the card on file for the room. So analog. Likewise, later when it was time to leave, one of those same clerks simply glared at me when I approached to let her know we were checking out. It wasn’t until my husband showed up behind me that she actually addressed me, saying everything was all set. She even smiled. I couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the abrupt change in her demeanor. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or if she’s just a hateful person, but she’s definitely one reason we will be staying elsewhere the next time we’re in town.

Casa Blanca's restaurant, Fatima, was one of the best we ate at in SMA. The food, like the beautiful atmosphere and decor of the hotel and restaurant, was somewhat modern Moroccan themed, which having been to Morocco the hotel did a great job. The service, food and everything about the restaurant was outstanding and the location is centrally located. We will likely stay at the hotel during one of our visits because I am certain they would do a great job.
