Hotel in zona Plaza de la Soledad, San Miguel de Allende

Casa Arca was the perfect place for us to stay for our friend’s wedding. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive. They helped book us transport to and from the airport, answered any questions we had and were more attentive and friendly than any property I’ve stayed at in recent years. The hotel location is perfect for exploring the city and walking pretty much everywhere. The food at the hotel was fantastic. We had many meals in San Miguel and the breakfast and dinner options at the hotel were up there in quality, presentation, and portion size. We loved everything we ate. The last thing to cover are the beds. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so well every night. I think their bed tops any high end hotel bed we’ve experienced. I would highly recommend staying at this property and we will not hesitate to book again if we are in San Miguel De Allende!

despite a couple of puzzling (and negative) experiences. the room was a modern retreat within a colonial atmosphere. we loved the room itself. the front and back courtyards filled with artwork pieces added a lot of character. the initial arrival experience wasn’t pleasant as we didn’t know there were 2 different locations as we arrived at the original address only to find that we needed to go to another address. and upon arrival at the 2nd hotel, the very first thing they wanted us to fill out was breakfast options. (they didn’t ask for ID cards or credit cards, but this breakfast form). what?!? it is only 2 pm. could that wait until we have settled into our room first? and plenty of time until breakfast the next morning. and guess what, our waffle breakfast the next morning was cold. so much for requiring us to fill out the form hours in advance. however, they did make corrections and our breakfast was great for the next 3 days. perfect location. great rooftop restaurant - kookaburra. and this hotel is within walking distance to nearly everywhere including great restaurants and coffee shops.

Les cuento, es la segunda vez que visito este hotel , lo recomiendo ampliamente, muy buena opcion para haspedarte en familia Tiene todo lo necesario para una buena estancia en san miguel de allende Cuenta con su propio estacionamiento y es gratuito

L'hotel è molto bello, molto estetico, ma mi sento di mancare di manutenzione. Ci sono molte polveri sui tavoli, l'albero è il punto principale, ma non è così pulito e i letti non nella stessa zona, quindi è qualcosa di scomodo poter goderla in tutto. Le camere confortevoli, le villa molto ampie, con WiFi,un delizioso bagno, e il personale in generale super amabile. Hanno parcheggio proprio, che è conveniente e hanno una terrazza - ristorante in cima quindi non si deve preoccupare se non vuoi uscire, anche se i prezzi leggermente elevati per quello che offrono (bevande).

Hotel molto buono, ma il parcheggio è un po' troppo affollato, non è comodo prendere le cose quando il parcheggio è lontano e c'è un costo!

Muy buena atención, hotel limpio y moderno muy placentero, sentí que les hace falta personal pero la verdad todo el equipo muy atento, estadía muy adecuada para mi y mi esposa, el desayuno muy rico, limitado en cuanto a opciones pero cumple muy bien su propósito y vale la pena costo-beneficio

I wanted to like this place more than I did. It has old-world charm, with the dark wood, the talavera tile and the boveda ceilings. It’s very reasonably priced, too, but you get what you pay for in a lot of ways here. Not a lot of room amenities— no mini fridge or microwave which, to be fair, is relatively rare in Mexico. But the stocked soaps and things were so cheap— like Dollar-Store cheap— they hardly lathered up. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the hours of the little convenience shop either which seemed never to be open, so no buying our own. I might have been able to overlook that stuff if the ladies at the front desk weren’t so rude. At one point during our stay, I thought I lost my key. When I went to ask for another, the two clerks literally rolled their eyes at one another before proceeding to take an inordinate amount of time contacting whomever they needed to contact to come program another key. They hardly addressed me and let me know pretty late in the process that I would have to pay for the replacement… in cash. I couldn’t just add the charge to the card on file for the room. So analog. Likewise, later when it was time to leave, one of those same clerks simply glared at me when I approached to let her know we were checking out. It wasn’t until my husband showed up behind me that she actually addressed me, saying everything was all set. She even smiled. I couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the abrupt change in her demeanor. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or if she’s just a hateful person, but she’s definitely one reason we will be staying elsewhere the next time we’re in town.
