Stunning overall architecture and pool area. Newer hotel with excellent food and one of the best rooftop views and bars in San Miguel de Allende. It's located a bit outside of town and one does need to hire a taxi to get into town. The walk into town will take about 25 minutes downhill. Lovely staff and customer service.

Amazing place and excellent staff and service! The restaurants are amazing and the views are incredible. They also have a beautiful pool in a gorgeous setting just minutes from el centro (with a complimentary shuttle to el centro). The location is perfect - super convenient to the centro/downtown area without all the noise and traffic. Will stay here next time for sure!

We want to acknowledge the kindness and exceptional service provided by the staff at Hotel Amatte, especially the special attention from Sophie van Haelst. During our stay, we were comforted by their immediate response to an emergency situation. After consuming adulterated drinks at a bar in San Miguel de Allende, the prompt and attentive action of the hotel staff, enabled us to receive timely assistance from the Red Cross, averting a potential fatal intoxication. We are immensely grateful for their swift and life-saving response.

Beautiful ambiance. The staff welcomes you upon your arrival with a fresh mimosa. The architecture and feel of every corner of this place is very soothing. It reminded us of a resort near the beach in Cabo. The hotel offers complimentary transportation to and from the Centro de San Miguel, which is impressive! We used it every day we were there, and It was quick and straightforward to use. Food and drinks were okay, but we did experience what looked to be disagreement with the chef and staff on two different occasions, which led the employee to walk away crying. Fair warning, The rooftop bar had a live DJ daily playing loud music until 11 pm. If you are a light sleeper or trying to sleep early, this might interfere with your plans.

Outstanding boutique hotel, Four Seasons level service!!!… great architecture, food is superb, and service is warm and to the detail… well done! Not the best location, but walkable and shuttle services work great Hacmans restaurant will not dissapoint , one of the best in San Miguel… breakfast is also very unique, in a beautiful setting

Very nice property and great rooms. Beds were especially comfortable, perhaps the best I can remember. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our needs were attended to promptly. When we made our reservation, Amatte recommended us three activities, of which we picked horseback riding. It was the best experience our family had, riding horses through the rugged wilderness. I would highly recommend this activity. The hotel is not in the central town area but they have a free shuttle so this is not an issue at all. Just a note that music is played almost the whole day. Adds to the vibe and we had no issues once we were in our bedroom.

The room was very comfortable and the beds excellent. One full day without electricity wasn't compensated sufficiently with free drinks. The food was good but not great so a little overpriced. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Staff at restaurant was perfect

After 5 minutes arriving in Amatte, the front desk up sold us to a "BETTER"room, the room had no working AC.no toilet paper, no clean towels and we waited 2 hours for them to clean the room until 5 pm. The staff request to get your Whatapp apparently to give good customer service but they never answer. There is no Wellness in this place and NO COMMUNITY. which ARE THE HOTEL NAME. The restaurants upstairs was also terrible. The server was running between tables serving ONLY tables that the manager was telling to pay more attention too so expect no service and your food to poison you.. After we good food poisoning and discover the room had no AC we wanted to Talk to the General Manager. he was not there until the next morning and he said he will refund us. This was almost 2 months ago. NO REFUND has been received and The General Manager has not respond. We had been to San Miguel multiple times and will not recommend this place NEVER. STAY AWAYAND DONT EAT THERE!!
