This is the Cottage on Cedar Street: The Cottage on Cedar Street is a cozy wood-sided house in a beach town (near the beach!). A small home loaded with coastal charm. A dwelling meant exclusively for guests (that's you!). Cozy comfort is an essential feature. Open floor plan, functions very efficiently; tis bright, cozy and welcoming! Every detail has been meticulously planned with you, our guest, in mind. The interior of the cottage was completely refurbished in 2022 and 2023, while the exterior was painted a gorgeous light blue with a touch of lavender in a nod to our lavender fields on the island. Exterior * 2-story cottage with wrap-around front porch * EV charging station: ChargePoint Home Flex, Level 2, 240V * 3-minute drive or a gentle 14-minute walk from Friday Harbor village and the San Juan Island ferry dock Interior * Reverse lay-out = bedrooms + main bath on first floor (no lugging baggage upstairs) * Salish Sea/Griffin Bay view deck, dining room, living room, well-equipped chef's kitchen on 2nd floor with soaring 20-foot ceiling; plenty of windows making the space light and bright * Decorated in soft coastal colors with super comfortable charm throughout Bedrooms, lower level * Two QUEEN beds, well-appointed bedrooms on the first floor with an adjoining, amenity-filled tiled bathroom * High quality all-cotton organic bedding and bath towels * Spa robes, slippers * Dedicated work-from-home desk + chair in main bedroom Bathroom * Double sink vanity * Huge walk-in tiled shower with rain shower head + handheld shower system * Eco-friendly organic bath products: Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals body wash, shampoo, and conditioner * All-natural bamboo toilet and tissue paper, individually wrapped toothbrushes, cotton rounds, and cotton swabs; biodegradable makeup remover wipes; organic body lotion; organic feminine products * NOTE: products such as benzoyl peroxide and alpha hydroxy acids, common ingredients in acne and skin cleansers/gels/creams/serums, bleach our colored towels (leaving orange blotches that cannot be removed).
