Hotel in zona Bar Association of Puerto Rico, San Juan

This was our first stay in this newly renovated “sister”hotel to the Condado Plaza Hotel across the street. I can easily say that this was the best Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed in. The location is just as you cross into the Condado section of San Juan heading east from the cruise ship terminals or at the end if heading from the airport (a $24 taxi ride). It’s a bit quieter than the heart of the Condado. The entire hotel is gleaming— a beautiful airy lobby that opens into the pool area, a breakfast restaurant, and a bar area. We lucked out on an upgrade to a high corner room with panoramic views of the ocean (picture attached) with a wrap around balcony. The room was nicely appointed and definitely upgraded from the previous property. This will be our new favorite when passing through San Juan on the way to adventures beyond. The only negative is the street noise on the side of the hotel but it was balanced by the view in my humble opinion— the view from the other side is of the lagoon also very nice.

Assolutamente amato questo hotel. L'atmosfera è al primo posto della linea. Solo mi dispiace che non potevo godere della piscina a causa di un check-in tardivo e un breve soggiorno. Ho decisamente intenzione di rimanere di nuovo!

L'atteggiamento del servizio è insensato

Questo è l'hotel perfetto per la mia prima visita a San Juan, e non posso aspettare di tornare. Io e mia madre sono venuto a celebrare il compleanno di mia madre. E quando ci ha detto di fare il check-in, ci sono stati concessi qualche drink per rimborsare prima di lasciare l'hotel per celebrare l'occasione. Grazie Sylviani & Sabilya. Estupendo & Professional in ogni momento! Il personale ci ha trattato bene. Mi piaceva che l'hotel fornisse servizio di navetta da e a Old San Juan & a uno dei vicini dalle spiagge. La nostra vista dal 5° piano era anche grande. Possiamo vedere la piscina e la sorgente d'acqua lungo la strada. La posizione era grande, e molte cose da fare a piedi. Il quartiere T-Mobile era a 2 minuti a piedi. ******, 5 minuti a piedi. Assicurati di ottenere le foto davanti al segno PR che amo che è vicino. Grazie ancora e spero di vedervi presto!

Non mi fermerò di nuovo. I letti erano abbastanza comodi, ma l'hotel è vecchio e ha bisogno di un lavoro serio. Non ci sono due piscine ma una e è piccola, vecchia e sporca. Il def non vale la tassa di ristorazione che riscuotano e la piccola piscina è l'unica comodità che hanno. Il colazione non è fino a pagare con Hilton e il def non vale $21 per persona. È quasi vale la tassa di aggiornamento di $6.95 come membro di diamante. Il personale del servizio frontale dell'hotel, quando ci siamo reclutati, era grande, ma il personale mattino del servizio e della zona del colazione erano rudi e non benvenuti. In generale non è una scelta ideale per un soggiorno a San Juan.

Unfortunately, the high expectations I had for this place were lacking. First of all, I booked a deluxe room which included a TV in the room, sofa bed and was supposed to have its own entrance and privacy. As per the instructions on Hotels.com it stated that I should contact the property at least 24 hours in advanced for check-in details. I did just that and was met with a return message stating that I would receive the information prior to check-in on the day the reservation was to begin. Nevertheless, I didn't receive it until 4:15pm, mind you that the normal check-in times, as posted, are 3pm-10pm. Not only did I receive the check-in details about 1-2 hours late but also received a phone call with some confusing information. The lady informed me that my room had supposedly been ”overbooked” by the system and that my room wasn't available for my stay. That they would award me a room inside an ”apartment”, which is usually reserved for Airbnb and as compared to the deluxe room I had booked, included a larger space with a kitchen and other rooms which would be closed. I didn't really need a kitchen since I wasn't planning on cooking etc and was definitely skeptical and thinking how that happened since I had reserved the deluxe room days in advance and wasn't contacted for it at all. No other option was offered to me and I decided to go with it and give it a try... Unfortunately, upon arrival my skepticism was met with reality. All the access gates for the property are open, no locks, meaning anyone can enter the property at any given time. The only actual room which was open inside the ”apartment” didn't have all the amenities as the one I booked and the entire ”apartment” didn't have a single TV. Moreover, there were other people's belongings inside the room, ”apartment” and balcony, which in fact had a seating area but the cushions had been removed so it was useless. Another person's sandals, lighter and more surprisingly contraceptive pills were visible upon arriving. I found this to be unacceptable, specially during these times. I didn't feel comfortable and actually questioned the cleanliness and infection control, given that clearly no one had verified the lodging area and took care of the items which I previously mentioned. I felt unsafe at this time, not knowing if there was other people with access to the ”apartment”, given the fact that there were other people's items left in plain view. I contacted the property regarding the findings upon arrival and I didn't receive a response. I was confused about what to do since I definitely didn't feel safe and didn't know how to proceed since there's no front desk in the property. I never heard anything back and decided to vacate the property and seek lodging elsewhere. That meant having to pay for a hotel elsewhere and spend an additional quantity of money than we were expecting but it was a decision I made with my partner because ultimately we didn't feel safe!!!

Il personale era più che utile, dal secondo che andavamo a Lewis, immediatamente ci salutava con bevande (bar aperto libero) e ci dava buoni consigli su come iniziare le nostre vacanze. Sono certa che rimarrò qui quando ritornerò.

Molto tempo per comunicare**** con i servizi al cliente ma buon servizio

Situato a Isla Verde direttamente sulla spiaggia con accesso alla spiaggia. Vicino all'aeroporto, abbastanza vicino ad altre attrazioni ma alcune sono davvero lontane. Bella striscia di negozi/ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. La piscina è bella e il personale dell'hotel è gentile. Le camere con vista sulla spiaggia sono fantastiche. Non si sono verificati rumori o disturbi forti anche se la camera era proprio di fronte all'ascensore?
