Ka'Ana Resort & Spa

Bon hôtel mais un peu éloigné de la ville et un peu trop près de la route. Évitez les chambres de première catégorie qui ne sont pas terrible par contre les chambres de catégorie supérieure sont formidables. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré. Le service est bon en général. En conclusion je recommande cet hôtel 😃😃🙂😃

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us find different companies to help us with our home furnishings and items to finish our house over there. We greatly appreciate their knowledge. Villa 1 was a beautiful place to come back to in the evening and relax. They are right off a main road that at the time of our stay was under construction so there was extra road noise from the large trucks breaking. Otherwise the location is great that it is easy to get to.

Our stay at Ka'ana was absolutely magical. We picked Ka'ana for a luxury jungle experience and that's exactly what we got. We stayed there for a full week. Our room was everything we pictured and more! The private backyard and plunge pool was the best part. The housekeeping staff kept our room clean daily, and always replaced our towels without us even asking. The bar and restaurant staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast every day (except one morning at the San Ignacio market square on Saturday - at the suggestion of the staff!),lunch most days and dinner most nights. The menu had enough variety that we tried different things every day and it didn't get boring. The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable and very responsive when we had questions or requests.We felt very taken care of all week, and we knew they would help if we needed something. We went on a few excursions through the resort and they were both incredible. Eddy took us to Xunantunich and gave us the most informative and interesting private tour of the area and ruins. Brandon took us to the Mountain Pine Forest Reserve and spent the day showing us Rio Frio caves and pools and Black Rock Falls. Both tours were professional, informative and inspiring. We also had a couples massage while on the property in the spa - and both masseuses were extremely skilled and made our experience comfortable and relaxing. Overall, every member of the staff we met was incredibly helpful, informative and respectful. They all deserve a raise! The hotel grounds were absolutely stunning, with a beautiful organic garden on site, that they use for ingredients in their restaurant - true "farm to table!" We can't wait to go back.

It was a good drive from the airport but we already knew that from the time we booked. We wanted secluded from a bunch of tourist and this spot was perfect for that! Nice and quiet! Room was great! Staff was great! Food was great! The whole Belize experience was phenomenal!

I wanted to have a trip that would provide our kids (4 and 7) with a unique experience but also wanted to be in a comfortable location. The Ka'ana provided just what I was looking for. We stayed for a week, 2 days in a casita, and the remainder of our stay in the 2 bedroom villa. The casita was okay, but the villa was breathtaking. We enjoyed our private pool and patio area. There are a lot of bugs since you are in the middle of the jungle so it takes some getting used to. The doors in the rooms also aren't flush, so bugs get in through the cracks. Unfortunately 1 day we had a tarantula under the bed and another day we had a yellow scorpion by our bed. Without gaps around the doors, it would make it harder for animals to get in. We also went on 3 day trips while we were there, our tour guide Eddy was great. Our kids enjoyed the trips and he made them super kid friendly. He was able to explain things to them in a way they found fun and interesting. I would recommend staying here if you want to visit the Mayan ruins.

If you read other reviews this is a KNOWN issue. I would not recommend as they cannot provide a basic essential service such a running water.

This property isn't one of the fancier jungle lodges, but its proximity to the jungle adventures, ruins and San Ignacio are truly great. It's a small, relaxed place, but there is still a feeling of it being in the jungle despite it not being. The rooms are extremely spacious, well done and clean, as is the entire property. The beds and pillows are huge and very comfortable. We arranged massages and they were great. The pool is not the greatest, mostly because it doesn't have many chairs or the nicest furniture, but it's certainly an adequate one. The main 'house' has indoor/outdoor seating with a lovely deck and adjacent indoor bar. The staff was absolutely a joy. Julio at the front desk along with the others was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. And the food, drinks and wine...totally unexpected fresh, flavorful and creative. It was a 9+.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING WITH THIS HOTEL. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU ANY MONEY IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN AMENDMENT TO YOUR BOOKING. OUR TRAVEL OPERATOR MADE CHANGES TO OUR BOOKING LEAVING US NO CHOICE TO MODIFY OUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. WE BOOKED VIA BOOĶING.COM WHO CONFIRMED WE WERE ENTITLED TO SOME (IF NOT ALL) OF OUR $500+ BACK. THE PROPERTY DID NOT REFUND US AND SHOWED ZERO GOODWILL. THEY HAD 4 WEEKS NOTICE TO FILL THIS BOOKING BUT DECIDED TO KEEP OUR MONEY.

Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms, loved the decor and AC was nice on a particularly hot day. Purified water was provided in rooms in am and again at turndown service along with a sweet treat. We would have loved to have coffee/tea option in room since we tend to be early risers. Service was fantastic, especially Cruz, Sam, and Julio. We loved the Mayan cooking class from scratch with sisters Clarita and Amrita. We also booked an excursion to Rio On, Big Rock and Rio Frio cave. Andee was our guide (self proclaimed "bird nerd" :) who showed us a fantastic local experience. Due to recent heavy rain we could not swim, so we made a special stop at Oxmul coffee farm which was great. Be sure to also take a walk to the onsite organic garden, lots of birds there in the morning. We thought onsite restaurant was good and we had continental breakfast included in price by booking directly. Cocktails were outstanding. Only downsides were location right on highway which was under construction, lack of in room coffee and higher price point.
