Rodeway Inn San Clemente Beach

Property was vey convenient for me to get to nd back from my destination without having to drive. Would probably pick one of the upper rooms next time to avoid some of the talking that went on around the vending machine - was not bad most nights just some occassions

This is a charming family motel. It was very clean, felt safe, and was in a wonderful location close to the beach. I would recommend to friends.

Very friendly lady, close to pier and downtown, nice big king bed made anice rest. Looks like they are tedoing some toake even better. Also, thank you for the organic avocados on our way out!

Overall it was nice. The room was very spacious and clean. Room had a fridge, microwave and a safe. Friendly staff. The only complaints I have first was the water pressure was horrible, shower is very slow flowing. Next is that it is advertised that they have a continental breakfast in the morning but they do not. My mom and I went down in the morning to grab a couple items and the counter in the lobby was empty. I asked where the breakfast items were and they said they don't offer that. I did mention that it is advertised online/website in print and with pictures that they do and they had no response to that. I would stay again because I did like how big and clean the room was.

Management was super rude. Me and my family are homeless and we were wondering about staying another extra few nights. He treated us horribly and kept telling me are you going to rent The room or are you gonna keep wasting my time super rude never coming back

Not 5 star property however it clean, quiet and very convenient to get to downtown. Very reasonably priced.

No smoking place but they smoke in adjoining rooms anyway. Noisy smoking hispanics males just checked in next door 4-25-2024. Already had to knock on their door. Wouldn't let me change rooms either.

Great place to stay ! Easy check in ! Very reasonably priced for the area . Very clean and comfortable staff was extremely nice . Would def stay again

All RED flags straightaway. Nobody stays at the front desk. You need to ring a door bell to get their attention to let them that someone is there. Took a while before you can check-in. The issued key card did not work and have to come back to unattended front desk and ring the bell again. The Re-activated and re-issued key card did not work again for the second time. The come back to the unattended front desk for the third time. The front desk person decided to use his own master key card to let me in and came back to give me the third key card (whew!) It finally worked. There is no available table lamp in the room. All the wall light are extra bright LED lights and emit glaring and blinding white light to the eyes. I have to drape over a towel to diffuse its illumination or use the bathroom light and close its door to provide dim light to the entire room.
