Hotel in zona Ancient city of Pythagoio, Samos

Il villaggio/hotel è ben tenuto, credo recentemente ristrutturato, molto pulito. Il personale cortese e disponibile. Per un 5 stelle, il cibo non era proprio da 5 stelle, cibo ripetitivo e ogni pietanza piena di salse o creme, mancava il cibo semplice, come una bistecca o pesce alla griglia, o patate e carote bollite, sicuramente per chi è intollerante al lattosio o glutine, il pasto era assolutamente insufficiente. I cocktail compresi nell'all inclusive assolutamente penosi e tutti con lo stesso sapore. Il bar alla spiaggia al contrario era sempre ben fornito, con dolci, insalatine, macedonia, hot dog, patatine, gelato, granite e pizza ad ogni ora. Lettini in spiaggia comodissimi, ma non sufficienti quando c'è il pienone, asciugamani morbidi. Per chi fosse interessato NON C'E' UN MINIMO DI ANIMAZIONE ne' per grandi ne' per piccoli, un po' di musica qualche sera... Mare GELIDO!! Assistente Francorosso simpatica, ma priva di capacità, non ci è stata data nessuna informazione riguardo all'isola o ai dintorni, da sola ho scoperto l'esistenza di scavi archeologici e del museo a Pythagorion, 10 minuti a piedi dall'hotel, al costo di 6 euro. Le escursioni proposte da Francorosso CARISSIME e solo 3, rivolgetevi piuttosto in paese ci sono diverse agenzie locali e barche che organizzano belle gite per i turisti. Infine il costo, assolutamente eccessivo per quello che viene offerto, per me era un viaggio in regalo, mai e poi mai avrei pagato tale cifra per quest'hotel in questo posto.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their professionalism and warmth set the tone for a truly memorable stay. The rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect night’s sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The on-site restaurant offers a diverse menu with something to suit every palate, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Breakfast was a particular treat, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. The hotel’s location is ideal, providing easy access to local attractions while still offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The surrounding area is stunning, and I enjoyed taking advantage of the hotel’s well-maintained facilities, including the pool and spa, which added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. In summary, this hotel is a gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you’re guaranteed a fantastic experience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! We will see you again :)

Stayed for 7 night in early September 2023 - first impression of the place was absolutely amazing. Visually, one of the more beautiful hotels I've seen. Before I delve into a deeper review, I'd like to give a special shout out to the entire hotel staff, from reception, to waiters, to housekeeping and even Vincent with his delicious coffee in the morning - without whom this hotel wouldn't be as special without. A very special thank you to Eva (we miss you!) and Matthew at the restaurant in the evenings, Dimitry at the bar and Costa at the reception - your kindness and smiles truly made our stay special. Personal tip - don't rely on the hotel's 'Guest Relations' rep for recommendations on where to go and where to eat - we had some very unpleasant experiences from some of her recommendations. Talk to Eva or Dimitry, or even the local cab drivers, for the best recommendations. The Rooms: We took a room with a swim-up. The room itself is gorgeous, and the direct access to the pool made it the best possible room. If you book this room, make sure to ask for Rooms that have sun throughout the whole day (like rooms 707 and 706) - we got 708 and only got direct sun from 14:00 until 18:00 (which falls 'lunchtime') - which was a bit disappointing considering we moved rooms due to this very issue with our first room (908). The Food: Breakfast buffet was nice, a lot of choices and fresh eggs/omelettes made to order. Though the fact that there wasn't fresh orange juice was a bit disappointing - it IS a 5 star hotel after all. Also why no toaster? That was very strange. Cereal choices were also very limited. Lunch and Dinner menus were excellent and delicious. However, two big drawbacks regarding both menus; Both menus were a bit expensive. If you're having drinks and a meal each, the bill can easily get to 60-70 euros (and when you eat lunch and dinner day after day, it adds up quite fast), and that's without anything 'fancy'. A second drawback was the lack of choices. We came to Casa Cook Samos due to our amazing experience at Casa Cook Rhodes - where you had a different menu for every day of the week! At Samos, you unfortunately have a very limited menu that doesn't change - so if you're going for longer than 3-4 days, things get old very very fast. And especially since there's only one decent restaurant (Unan) within walking distance from the hotel - otherwise you need to visit Pythagorio. Again - the food was top notch, their Risotto was one of the best I've had in my life - but such a shame it wasn't priced more fairly and had more options. My recommendation - for great food, go to Pythagorio or even Samos City and have some great local food for a fraction of the prices. Unan (not far from the hotel), Pergamonto and Onion Grill are a few of the great places we ate - all with excellent food and service. DO NOT go to Pnoe Restaurant - very low quality food. La gloria di coro di questo hotel è la sua piscina al tetto. Bella zona con grandi viste sul mare. Ha confortevoli sedie e asciugamani. Il personale della zona è utile. Ho avuto una vista sul mare con balcone. È necessario che soggiornare in questo hotel come le camere sono fondamentali per dire il meno. Pareti sottili di carta. Bagni molto piccoli, ma prodotti carini. La stanza era pulita e le signore che li puliscono sono amichevole e duro lavoro. La colazione è disponibile all'esterno con vista sul porto: la torta, il formaggio, la carne, i cereali e le salate. Il caffè è povero e il succo è squash. Il giovane che pulisce le tavole è efficiente e si fa orgoglioso di fare un buon lavoro e è un credito all'hotel. Non mi piacevano i gatti e i cani che mi uniscono al colazione, né il gruppo alto degli americani che erano rimasti lì. Una persona parlava molto generosamente di me, pensava che fossi greco. Ma non è colpa dell’hotel.
